Good combination of Continental and Indian breakfast. The breakfast was very well made. The staff was very respectful of dietary issues. Room had all the appropriate amenities. Loved the tub in the bathroom. Closet had enough space. Good view of Union square.

the taj is the best. the staff (Soukaina - Soraya - Sierra- Gurusharn- Roy- Tuan) are the best. I was in town for what was supposed to be a few days but turned into most of the month as my mother spiraled and died. They took incredible care of me.

i love the Taj. My mom was dying and they took the most amazing care of me. From guest services (Soukaina, Soraya, Sierra, Gurusharn, Roy, Tuan thank you so much) to housekeeping nothing could have been better or more comforting during an awful time. They were so kind, they even sent me flowers and a condolence card. When I return to SF, there is nowhere else I would consider staying.

The lighting in the room was not great, charging options were limited and out dated. Staff was great. Room service and menu were limited and it took house keeping took too long to clear try’s and carts from corridors. This was such a gem in the day but a facelift is due.
