The toilet wasn’t bolted down to the floor properly, the nightstand had what looks like mold on it and the carpet in the room was horribly dirty. I understand it’s a budget hotel near the airport but it felt very unsanitary and overall uncomfortable!!

Service not the greatest

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, nice landscaping. Only one washcloth in bathroom. Went to front desk to ask for another one and was handed a hand towel. I repeated my request for a washcloth, and was told "no." There was no place in the shower to set the soap or anything, so had to set it on toilet tank top.

The price appeared affordable, yet the shabby conditions and inconvenience of 3pm checkin was beyond infuriating. As a business traveler my time is valuable. This location of Travelodge fails to accommodate business travelers, especially having travelled internationally to SFO from CDG. I simply wanted a room ready upon arrival to the property. Arrived at property about 1:20pm, I had prepaid and expressed any room would do, double bed was not necessary per reservation. I was told no rooms until 3pm. After waiting for the hotel shuttle pick-up at the airport for over an hour. This experience as solidified my resolve, I will not book at Travelodge South San Francisco again if at all possible, last resort only.

This property is poorly maintained. The price appears affordable, so overlook shabby conditions. However, as a business traveler, this property fails to accommodate for business purposes. After traveling internationally, I want to arrive to the property and receive a room, especially after pre-payment. Rather being told to wait to 3pm to checkin is beyond frustrating. It’s far better to pay the extra $20-$40 for a more upscale property than Travelodge-South San Francisco. This will be my last time I stay at this property. No refunds offered. Very disappointing, even for the alleged value price.

Honestly I was a bit worried but this hotel doesn’t get enough credit. The outside is a bit worn but the room was very clean, clearly recently renewed. The bed was super comfortable. The check in was super fast and easy (even at 1 am, the time we got there) the employee was very patient, kind and there was no struggle with the deposit.
