Negligent Operation

I’ve stayed here a n the past and found it appealing as to location, cleanliness, size, and comfort for my family. This past stay was a downgrade due to th following: 1. The hotel was under renovation but was not disclaimed; 2. The exterior of the hotel was in process of being painted. In fact a ladder was left propped outside making access to balconies Very accessible for intruders! This was negligent and exposed the location to high liability if anything happened to persons or property; 3 While the hotel is pet friendly I found it untenable that the grass area near parking lot on property had so much dog waste that you could not take a step without stepping in feces! It had not been serviced for a long while, nor where pet waste receptacles available anywhere on property to encourage owners to pick up after their dogs. That is why I downgraded eco friendly. Because of these issues I will avoid this property in the near future and Opt to stay in the Hampton in across the street.

Horrible Room

The shower had no running water available, toilet was flushing very slow, carpet was stained throughout the room, several tiles in the bathroom were cracked, mirror frame was splattered with red paint and electrical outlet next to the bed was partially detached from wall. After notifying the front desk about the room, she proceeded to say they should have never rented this room to you like this

This hotel is nothing like the pictures. They shouldn't charge that much considering they are under construction. I stayed there and there was no, breakfast, no access (you have to turn around multiple times to find the entrance), rude front desk, dirty, old facility, expensive! I'll never go back. Pay the same amount for a better facility.

I was lied to!

Upon checking in they informed me the hotel I picked was no longer available and all the amenities including the bar & grill were closed due to ongoing construction. I wish they would have stated all that beforehand! And the only thing they offered as compensation was a $10 parking fee waived! I’m there for business purposes and did not have the time to look for something else otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed there! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT I feel like I was duped!

While I appreciate the hospitality, I was disappointed to find that the sheets in my room were not clean upon arrival. We booked a 2 bedroom suite and unfortunately, both bed comforters were dirty. I did contact the front desk and they did change the sheets.

Our one night stay was less than ideal because of the construction that was being done. Way too difficult (poor signage) to locate where registration was and while the room and bedding was adequate we couldn't figure out how to turn the shower on. (Yes, there were even written directions on the shower.) Wouldn't recommend staying until construction is clearly over. Check in staff and maintenance had helpful positive attitude so don't think this review reflects on them. They did the best they could considering the frustrating conditions.
