The property is in a state park, there are many beautiful sites and walks nearby. When we stayed the rookery next door was full of nesting cormorants. Loved all the bird songs & sounds each morning and enjoyed watching them build nests and bring food to the young hatchlings. All this and you could easily walk into town or it’s a short 5 minute drive. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff here is wonderful! Loved how quiet and out of the main hubbub this place is. The grounds are pretty and the view is great. The rooms are a tad overpriced for the state of the hotel, but everything combined, it was a pleasant experience. LOVED the bartender and waitstaff at the restaurant. <3 Recommend!
