Generalizing about locals is not ok. Not everyone is going to destroy the rooms, it was an ok stay. The cleaning smell was strong, opened the window and after wards it was ok.

The manager was very nice. The room was clean, had a microwave and a fridge, and the bathroom came with plenty of towels - and even three shampoo bottles. I'd happily stay here again. Also, I travel with my special needs son. Some places have asked me not to stay, which is a crazy ADA violation. It's hard enough travelling with my son, but reaching my destination and being offered a full refund rather than being provided a room is exhausting. These folks were welcoming, and it was such a nice relief.

The lights would dim when the microwave was running. Moldy walls painted over, too much to list. The staff at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful!

You could tell they take personal pride in the care of the property. I travel a lot and typically see scuffed walls, dirt or dust accumulated in corners from sloppy mopping or dusting, or broken or mismatched odds and ends. While I did see dust accumulated at the base of the toilet and on the tiled baseboard in the bathroom, the room was very clean, smelled nice and had zero noticeable defects. The only drawback was that the hotel is on a main (6 lane) road so you get the sound of people drag racing late at night and early morning. Otherwise, I didn't notice normal traffic.

Room had not been cleaned, had to ask for sheet and my wife and I changed it (seems that they were having issues with their cleaning staff) But that should not be reflected on the presentation of room and the client. Afterwards we asked for 2 pillow cases and another bedsheet so we could sleep. Counters dirty as the floors also were dirty, not at all a descent experience.
