Works, but....

Decent place, but not very clean, at least not my room. My coffee pot had a broken beak, and there was thick dust on ledges and on the blinds. Check in staff in was friendly and recommended local things to do. I hope they get their cleaning staff on par, and do a bit more QC, it's otherwise a decent place to explore around Hearst castle and PCH.

It was a decent motel for a one night stay. Pros: 1. Great location, right across the beach, and a few restaurants near by 2. Staff was polite and understanding 3. The air conditioning system worked well Cons: 1. There was no complimentary breakfast 2. Price was a bit on the higher side 3. There was a bit of dirt in the room (understandable as it's right closed to the beach) 4. There was a water dripping noise coming wither from the plumbing inside the bathroom or the air conditioning system. It wasn't too loud but not too quiet either.

Clean and quiet

We were there for Hearst Castle. It was nice and close and was clean and quiet. For us the only thing missing was no morning continental breakfast. Our room had a nice shower but no bath. We had coffee in our room and very restful.

The stay was nice but the only got 4 stars be the refrigerator in our room was not working and the pillows were hard as a rock. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Clean and comfortable

Clean and comfortable. Had an issue with the TV. Went to the office but no one was there. Phone in room did not work but used our cell phone to call the front desk. Veronica came to our room and solved the problem.
