We went off season which may have been why the restaurant was closed at 8pm. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but not the best stay we had in Germany.

Location is spectacular for an overnight to Neuschwanstein castle. Lovely and pristine clean. Dinner was lovely. Overall a wonderful experience. We rented a car for an easy drive to Neuschwanstein from Munich. Free and easy parking. Next to ticket office for castle and horse carriage to top. My huband and I had a lovely day/overnight from Munich.

Must be the best location to visit the area. Parking was flawless, check-in easy, our room a delight and the three meals we enjoyed wonderful. Carriages to the castle that are steps from the hotel rounded out a perfect experience.
