Everything was average but what was terrible was the was a lot of black mould round the window not just a little, a lot. If we had noticed it when we arrived (arrived when it was dark and the poor lighting in the room) we would have asked to move as ive got very bad asthma and since staying saturday night have been weezey.

On arrival I was told that there was no water in the rooms due to maintenance work and they were not sure when the water would be turned on. There was no real apology reception staff just gave the information and when I said I was not happy about it they just said maintenance needed to be done sometime. So although I could book into my room I was unable to use the toilet, make a hot drink or wash after 2 hours of travelling. They did move me to another room after about 40 minutes when water was returned to some rooms in the hotel. Bedroom and bathroom were‘tired’ looking and need redecorating. Parking cost more than advertised in description.

Excellent from check in until we left.. Seemless check in, Leah checked us in and was so polite and knowledgable about the hotel and surrounding. Room was perfect, clean, cleaning staff were friendly. Air con but also a fan heater was in the room if needed. Liam who works in the bar is as asset and, in my opinion, should be promoted! Ii swimming pool and spa facilities excellent. ive stayed there before and really enjoyed it even more so now. Will be booking to stay again in a few weeks. A little gem. Highly recommend.

You get charged parking even though you put it in your hotels.com search. Plus I was a Accor member and they don’t even ask you if you are because you booked through a 3rd party and Costa you £10 per night. Gym fairly good, room could do with upgrade on the heating and a bit dated. Not enough staff on front end. Breakfast nice.

Large room, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Unusual layout in the room - lots of unused space by the door, could use a small sofa there. Would also be good to have 2 sidelights instead if one. One light wasn’t quite enough which meant the main light needed to be on which was quite harsh. The keyless entry to the room was a bit annoying, but that’s personal preference. Having said that, if at brands hatch again would definitely stay again.

The hotel was good, could do with a refresh especially the carpets. Bathroom bottles were empty, but staff were quick to help out. Restaurant food was very good, fantastic curry. Staff were friendly especially Leah, who was very helpful. Breakfast was nice, better quality of sausages would’ve mad this better.. Overall yes we would say here again.

Limited food choice in main restaurant as mainly Indian food. Ok for a one night stay but limited if you can’t eat Indian food. Fish and chips, steak etc other option but not imaginative. Our room was clean and appreciated the walk in show. But the springs were coming through our mattress!! Uncomfortable to say the least. Children running around the bar area. Throwing the cushions off the sofas. Screaming and playing tag. Parents and staff taking no notice. Went to our room at nine pm to get away from the noise! To our lumpy bed!! Such a shame as have been using this hotel for many years.
