Missed expectations

Lots of issues regarding the safety and condition of these rooms. The rooms had sliding glass doors with no screens to let in the air from outside. We were on the main level with access to a shared deck facing a busy street with many pedestrians. The water in one of the units only had hot water coming to both the hot and cold lines to the sink. The shower water would jump from hot to cold water unpredictably which wasn’t good for showering. The final straw was discovering an active hornets nest next to the only parking spot available. This is not a hotel, more a motel that is run down and needs updating for security and comfort.

Great view compared to a lot of other places. I like how cozy the room is, I wished we had a coffee machine in each room, but overall it’s the perfect location to everything including the cruise line, railroad and bus

If you’re looking to stay in a small, musty motel room that hasn’t been updated since the 1980s, this is the place for you. But aside from that, it’s ridiculously expensive too. I realize that summer in Alaska is prime season for surge pricing but $350/night is unfortunate

The hotel was very charming. Maybe not as fancy as a Hilton or Marriott but perfect for our stay in Seward. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful.

Our shower would not come on in the morning and we reported it to the front desk, she said she would call a plumber. We asked to be moved to another room so we could shower before our tour and she said there were no rooms. The plumber showed up, said it couldn't be fixed and we would be moved to another room. So the clerk lied and we didn't get to shower. We were moved after the tour. Also the water was extremely hot and had to run for almost 5 min to get usable. When we were leaving another patron was in the office because his shower didn't work. I would not recommend with hotel

Bedsheet had bed crumbs. Provided Small tiny shampoo & 2 small tiny bar soap for two people provided. Nothing special on this place. You get what you paid for. Decent stay. Recommend to bring your own shampoo, body soap. Overall comfortable stay.
