The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The only thing we didn't care for was the breakfast because it didn't taste good.

There was no room service the second day we stayed. Had to ask for clean towels. They did not clean the room or replace used soaps. We arrived early about 2:30 the first day and they did allow us to register early and that was nice. very noisy on first floor from guest on second floor.

The property was convenient for visiting with friends in the area. The room was ready after 3:00 as promised; clean and well-airconditioned. The black-out curtains allowed for a little later morning sleep-in. Dinner at Casa Ramos and a visit to Windy Hills Lavender Farm, both close by, were great additions to our trip.

We booked a king room with sofa bed and the front desk employee said they only have a king bed with no sofa or a room with 2 queen beds and we would have to pay more. There were 4 other king bed rooms available but the second employee kept telling the first employee that those are not available. He did not want the room given to us.

When we arrived to check in, we were offered an upgrade for $20 a night for a King deluxe room. When we got to our room, we noticed the window was right by the major 4 lane highway, and heard traffic all night shaking the glass on our window. The tv didn’t work and would not connect to satellite, and someone had to come up to fix it. The next day our key wouldn’t work so we had to walk all the way to the other end of the complex to the office to get a new key. When we entered, the room had not been cleaned, no bed made, no towels etc. when we called down, the man argued and said since Covid they make cleaning your room by request only and we were on camera saying if we didn’t need “room service” in which we thought room service was food brought to your room. When we first called on Thursday, to get a room for Friday and Saturday, for the $149,00 a night as expressed online the guy who answered the phone at the Heber- Overguarrd Sawmill Best Western, said to get that rate we’d have to pay on line, and literally hung up with out a thank you or goodbye. So by the time we finished, we paid $445.00 for two nights, at a place we couldn’t sleep well because of the traffic noise. But the sucker punch was being talked into that noisy King Deluxe room for an extra $40, and the arguing staff that said “Sorry, you paid through Expedia and we don’t have anything to do with that. All during a time of a death in the family. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
