The hotel room was decent, and the staff who checked us in were polite. Location: You need to cross a big road to reach the happening area, which isn’t ideal if you’re traveling with elderly parents. Policies: The “no visitors” rule was unusual to me. This was a family reunion trip across three countries, and unfortunately, our family wasn’t welcome to gather or chat in our room. Visitor may be allowed if you specifically request and register for it though but this policy wasn’t convenient for us. If I had known this in advance, I would have been willing to pay a bit more for ibis.

Just okay.

Nothing special with the service provided but was surprised and appreciable that was able to check in early. Its just a place to rest your head after a hectic day on travel. It would be great if able to keep the AC on while out thus not having to wait for the room to cool down.

Spacious and clean room.

Great stay and any issue was quickly fixed, the shower control for hand held/rain shower. However, despite the AirCon maintenance happening when I arrived, the room aircon still takes a long time to cool the room down. This issue appears to have persisted since my last stay in 2020. The spaciousness is really as it appears in the hotel's photos.

Staff was friendly and nice. Check in and check out were smooth and efficient. Room was clean There was no air conditioning in the corridor but that in the room was excellent. Overall our stay at the hotel was satisfactory. However , including the fees charged by Expedia, it's a bit pricy

Great location!

Hotel is in a perfect location close to lots of shopping and markets. The man that checked us in was very helpful - he was a 'trainee'. This is a great budget hotel with a price that's hard to beat!

I really enjoyed my stay at Summer View, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a great size for the price and free amenities were refilled daily (little snacks and water etc). Quite conveniently located nearby restaurants; my favourite being a delicious dry ban mian place "Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee". Loved it, would stay again for sure!

Good location and convenient dining. Bed was comfortable and shower was clean. Steong AC. Staff was a little rude about holding bags after checkout and housekeeping was impatient, but otherwise was good staff and a great stay for 2 nights
