Margaritaville in South Padre Island needs improvement. The elevator showing the pools has a glass that at first glimpse seems to be fogged in reality. It’s painted white for some odd reason it hinders a total view. There needs to be more seating for the amount of guests at this location. Smells of mildew. The bathrooms need to have an exhaust to prevent mildew. The need for more bellhop racks is needed. The cost per stay exceeds the service and available amenities.

We had a great stay- Thursday thru Sunday. Partial ocean view, high level room view with pool view as well as a perfect view of Space-X. Live Music in the evening, DJ by the pool. The restaurant was good but they messed up our food every time we placed an order. The mattress was hard as a rock. Everything is quite pricey at the hotel for what is offered. I also had a spa service. A pedicure was nice but the spa wasn’t a luxurious experience. You have to pay to park- daily. Would be nice for the cost of the room self-parking be included. However, we would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Property was nice, I found molding food on the bed frame, as the pool got busier for the holiday it also got dirtier. The location of the property is solid, pictures of the property are deceiving. Overall it was an okay stay.

The beach at South Padre Island was amazing and maybe it was because it was end of August, we felt like we had the whole hotel and beach to ourselves. Food at the landshark restaurant was great. The coffee shop was great. The drinks from the bar were a bit watered down but that's typical of chain hotels. The hotel is fairly isolated from the rest of the strip so it's quiet but it requires driving or Uber to the nearby restaurants. All in all our stay was great and we would definitely come back.

Horrible stay

No Ac for 3 days in the main bedroom, They never fixed it. Door wouldnt lock. Noisy from construction, rude staff, horrible service, a manager was to call me at 9 am today and no one called. not clean, smells and the pool was dirty and people brought their own music and throwing balls in the pool.

Nuestra estadía en el Margaritaville fue muy agradable. El personal es super amable y atento. La recepción y el restaurante 10/10, todo super limpio y rico. La alberca y la playa tambien sin ningún problema. El problema fue la limpieza y calidad del cuarto. Durante las 4 noches que nos hospedamos no fueron a limpiar ni un solo día a pesar de que en una noche matamos una cucaracha y solicitamos en recepción que nos apoyaran con la limpieza ese día. La tina no tenia tampoco y el sistema del jabón tampoco funcionaba (ambos fueron solucionados por mantenimiento el día siguiente. En general la estadía hubiera sido un 10/10 si no hubiera sido por los inconvenientes en la habitación
