Beautiful property, friendly staff. Helped us with early check in and getting more water bottles. Only issue was bed was too hard and pillows were too soft. Lots of people at the pool, but it’s high season. Had to pay for parking, which I am not used to for South Padre Island. However, there was limited noise at night. We will absolutely stay again if the price is right.

The place was nice but when you spend a go amount of money on booking with them and having to pay for parking you expect a place where you can go and enjoy and relax well when we were there there was some girls vomiting all around the pool area and when one of the workers ask them are you ok they said yes she is fine when clearly she was not she couldn’t even get up by herself and she was still vomiting and when we whent to our room from a long day of watching a girl vomited all over and not wanting to go to her room we wanted to go and relax but when we wanted to use the toilet the water would start coming out from one of the hoses attached to the wall so we had to turn off the water from our toilet in order for it to stop throwing water and then in our floor level when we where waiting for the elevator the carpet smell so bad that it stank all the hallway

this was our first time staying at Margaritaville, and let me tell you, we will definitely be back. The hotel was very very clean, modern, the room was spacious and did not lack anything. Great pool, friendly staff and the atmosphere gave off good vibes. I definitely recommend.

Margaritaville, along with almost every restaurant in the area has all "cookie cutter" menus. Getting pretty boring. Boxed frozen shrimp fried (for every recipe) has a different bottled sauce poured on it and it can be called anything. The Korean Bbq shrimp was fried shrimp with ketchup and Siracha sauce.

I’ll start with ‘would i go back?’ and that’s a definite no! This is not a resort. It’s has great branding of Margaritaville in the lobby and rooms but that only gets you so far. After spending so much to stay there we all said we should have went to Mexico after the first day. I’ll start with the things broken in the room: phone, ironing board and worst of all bathroom fan. The AC barely kept the room cool during the day and we were there in May. The pool really needed to be cleaned. Black stuff all over the bottom and sides of the pool. People that worked there didn’t seem like they wanted to be there at all. The place was understaffed for sure. I’m surprised i didn’t see bugs in the room. Cleaning crew didn’t clean my room on the last day and we asked multiple times. Coincidentally the day that sheets needed to be changed so that wasn’t pleasant. Pool bar was awful. That’s not a swim up bar. Watered down drinks made us get alcohol from local stores and when we went out to eat. No one came around to take orders while at the pool or beach. Towels were usually hard to find. The restaurant was basic. Slow service. Was there room service? Never saw the option. The in room keurig was a nice surprise. The fire alarm going off multiple times a day caused confusion and panic among the guests. It would happen during the day and even late at night. What in the world… This place felt like self service motel…not a resort. The paid valet service was the nicest part of our stay.

We left immediately after: 1) bait and switch room - “premium sand king” view of rooftop and walls, no sand, no ocean 2) forced to sign contract A/C no lower than 69F or $500 charge for water damage 3) smelly humid lobby, grumpy front desk lady “you booked third party” 4) manager refused to honor room reservation - said ”there’s no sand in a premium sand room, it’s just a marketing word” worst property ever - stay away!
This was the view from our room balcony - no sand, no ocean, room was advertised as “premium sand king partial ocean view”
