Location location location gets a 5. I fixed the bathroom (barn style) door. Sink drained very slowly and trash came up from it (they were called to fix it). Beds were very comfortable, room was smaller but comfortable. Had to get in the shower to turn it on and wait for hot water. Staff was polite and attentive. The benches in front of te rooms and the open outdoor spaces were a nice touch. I will probably stay there again and not expect too much except Location location location.

The property was very clean as was our room. The only complaint I have is with the mattress. I prefer a soft mattress and ours was very firm. Perhaps if the pillows were more comfortable it would have helped.

I personally would not bring my family to stay here again. Pros: Staff were nice. Anyone we encountered were friendly. Location is great. Once we parked we didn’t have to move once since our primary visit was for downtown area. Cons: As many people have mentioned there is a band that plays until about 1:30 in the morning. I could make out every song and even hear the chatter of people. Thankfully we only did 1 night. But if you’re planning on going out until that time, that may not be a deal breaker. We were also unlucky to be placed by people who thought it was a good idea to hangout outside there door at 2 in the morning to the point I had to go outside and ask them to quiet down. Finally I definitely don’t think the price is worth this location and that’s even with it being downtown.

Very centric location. Just minutes walking from everything. Safe area. Only area of opportunity was room air conditioner. It was not consistently staying cold throughout the night.

Property served its purpose for a place to stay, location is near all important dining and things to do however at night music went till 3 or 4am so no sleep basically and shower in room didn’t produce hot water just slightly warm so that was uncomfortable. Great location to experience St. Augustine

The Best Western in St. Augustine had excellent reviews on the Hotel.com app, but I hadn’t stayed at BW for a long time. I was wrong to worry - the place was fantastic. It’s more of a motel than hotel. Meaning you park outside your room and there isn’t a “lobby” or main hotel - just an office to check-in. The parking is unique but makes perfect sense for the location. When you check in they guide you to your parking space and as you come and go they fit you in by moving barriers and stanchions. It sounds complicated but it works very well. Our room was small but worked for our stay without issue. The room was clean and up-to-date. Bathroom was nicely done. The location is excellent - the historic fort is across the street and the historic streets are 1 minute away walking. We spent most of our time exploring the town. Many great places to eat, drink and people watch. The town is very friendly and we felt safe throughout the historic area. The only negative was the hotel wifi really didn’t work for us. Might have been our room location - we were ground level and not far from main office.

The water smelled and tested horrible - like drinking out of the river. They should offer free bottled water. It is located in a touristy area and I didn’t know until I checked in that they cannot guarantee a quiet room. I was there for business. I could hear music from a bar in the next block. The property is very run down although they tried to fix up the rooms it was like putting lipstick on a pig. I don’t think Expedia should push this property. It’s just really run down.

This property is clean, and the staff are friendly . It’s a quick walk to historic town , and trolley is accessible beside the hotel , in front of Mary’s diner which is a great place to enjoy breakfast . Highly recommend!

One of our favorite places to stay but room 110 is so noisy and it comes straight in the room via the AC UNIT! From the band to the trash compactor we left super early to go home and rest! Again it is an amazing updated hotel with awesome location! We will go back just not that side of the hotel for sure!

Fantastic location

This is an older motel that has been refreshed recently. There's plenty of parking, although it take some tetris to get into and out of your spot. What you're really paying for here is the prime location. It's right near the Fort, and about a block from St George Street. It's very nice being able to park here and walk to wherever you wanted to go in the historic area.
