Very Clean and Comfortable

The hotel older but the rooms were very clean and smelled good. We brought our puppy Gelato (4) and it was so easy to take her outside to do her business. We stayed after the Labor Day holiday so it was very quiet. The hotel is a short walk to Shepley's ferry ride to Machinac Island. We didn't get to use the pool because we were super lazy but it looked very clean and sanitized. Price was very reasonable and we would definitely stay there again.

Great time in St Ignace

Great experience and if we go back to St Ignace, we will be staying at the Budget Host Inn. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, pool was nice, proximity to Sheplers was great, and overall loved the stay.

Nice quiet hotel right across the street from Shepler’s Ferry and walking distance to several dining options. The hotel was clean and staff helpful and friendly. It seemed like the AC in the halls was out and there were a few small maintenance issues noticeable, but overall a great choice for a short stay.

It was fine. Couldn’t check in until 4pm which seemed pretty late. Game room had no air conditioning and felt like a literal sauna. Cobwebs on the staircase, just overall not impressed. The pool was nice, also had continental breakfast which was good.
