Excellent location to visit sites

The hotel was very clean. The food was excellent but room service was a little pricey. It was within easy walking distance to multiple site within the city including the ball park, the Arch and several beautiful parks.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend at the end of March. If you’re headed to St Louis to see The Arch, this is a great place to stay! It’s a super easy walk, just a couple blocks away from The Arch and the river. The hotel was nicely decorated with a bar and a restaurant-though they never seemed to be active and when we did stop in to see if they had tea one afternoon they did not. The room was spacious and the facilities in the bathroom were very nice and it was very clean. We had breakfast included and the food was really good and the service was great but it took an hour one morning to get our food, so beware if you are on a time crunch you may want to ask what the wait is before you sit down and order. There were other restaurants in walking distance, Carmines was great, Brewhouse was ehhh… All in all, the hotel was very nice and we would stay here again if we found ourselves in St Louis.

Not sure what happened to this hotel because it looked/sounded so nice/high end yet the only thing that reflected this- the prices. $94 for 2 waters, steak, & salmon but received a bent knife. Sounds petty but hear me out. We arrived & waited 15m for someone to check us in. There was a valet worker walking around the front desk but he didn't say a word to us or tell anyone to come up to assist us. Our room looked beat up. The lamp between the beds would not turn. The bathroom fan didn't work but they lied telling me it was silent (steam wasn't being pulled in), no body wash in the dispenser. The freezer was over frosted & unusable. The elevator was very dirty in the corners & walls. The down arrow on our floor didn't light-up/work. That night I was pick-pocketed (not their fault but comes into play soon) & my money, bank cards, etc were stolen the 1st night that we were there just 2 blocks from the front of the hotel. I told the front desk, security, & valet about the incident. They didn't act concerned/helpful. Fast forward to check-out day- they had the audacity to call my room & wake us all up at 8a to tell me that my card was being declined! Normally this would not be so bad if not just the morning before... right after being pic in-pocketed and driving all day... The alarm started going off at 4a & it kept going off! Valet was quick. Manager let us use her flat iron. Quiet rooms. No discounts or apologies offered!

We chose this hotel because of its closeness to the Gateway Arch. It was also walkable to many restaurants. The valet parking was top notch. We were allowed to park for a few hours after our checkout. Our room however was not so great. The serenity bed was not so serene. It was very hard. The doors are heavy, so everyone was slamming them, even through the night. Our refrigerator was a freezer. It didnt matter what setting we tried, everything stayed frozen. And i had meds that needed to be cold. So we used our cooler and icepack instead. Our toilet ran constantly. It was very loud. When the air kicked on, it made a loud noise as well, waking us up. The maid never fully cleaned our room. The sheets were the same for our 4 day stay. We knew becasue they were very ripped in the corner. She didnt restock anything like coffee or cups. And we found m&ms on our floor after returning. We didnt have any off those. The windows were super dirty. Our view was of a dirty rooftop and construction anyways. Not worth the money!

Nice place near the Arch. View from the room was poor, but if we wanted an Arch view we would have stayed elsewhere. Hotel was classy and staff was very friendly.

The room felt clean and updated. We really enjoyed our breakfast, although it’s not completely complementary, it was worth it. It is also conveniently located for anyone wanting to see the Arch and explore the baseball stadium area. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
