Handy spot for alton towers

Handy stay for Alton towers around a 30 min drive away Nice easy check in took less than 5 minutes. Room was nice and clean had plenty of towels. My only grievance was the rooms are not soundproof so you could hear passing traffic on the a50 - not ideal for light sleepers Breakfast was decent plenty of options and the food was nice and hot. Food was replenished frequently

Over all comfy and clean

The hotel room was very clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. The only thing I would improve on is the wall thickness as you could hear every single word the neighbours said.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, clean and tidy, rooms really nice, bathroom a bit small but nice, rooms not as spacious as premier inn, we had free breakfast which was really nice and the breakfast was lovely, plenty of choices, cooked and cold options, tea coffee juices water, overall really happy with our stay.

Brilliant simple stop over. Family room for two adults and two children (6 & 9) room was clean and breakfast brilliant. Room was noisy at night however that was not the hotels fault but was due to other guests and staff did help resolve. Would stay again.

Quick trip

Friendly staff and very helpful, food was adequate. Bed was very uncomfortable, woke up with lots of aches and pains, also extractor fan was not working in bathroom, this was pointed out to staff. Also we found that the lighting was very poor, particularly when trying to apply makeup, a small lighted mirror in the bathroom would help.

Ok as a nearby stop

Easy to check in. Ideal location for us as we wanted to be close enough to our destination which was Alton towers. Very busy on the Friday night as the hotel is across the road from a football stadium. Saturday night was quieter apart from kids being kids, running up and down and playing knock and run, but they were kids and bored. Room was dark there wasn't a main light and the room is navy blue so felt dark inside the room was clean and bedding was clean. Tea and coffee making facilities available. The only issue we had was the room was freezing cold the heating didn't do anything but just came on and off of its own accord blowing room temperature air and it was very loud. We were overall happy as it was a pit stop for us. The price I feel was a little high but I believe it was probably slightly more due to football match being on a Friday night and that is close to Alton towers.
