I have stayed here a few years back before the remodel. The new floors look nice, but my shoes stuck to them with every step. It was not that way in the bathroom, so I know my shoes were clean. I don't know if it was the cleaning product that was used, leaving a residue? Had my shoes on the whole time though, because I didn't want to walk in my socks/bare feet. Otherwise, it was a quiet stay with friendly staff.

I like this property due to convenience, easy in/out. They recently remolded the rooms and have hard flooring. The floors are very dirty, under furniture and room corners and behind bed are disgustingly dirty. I dropped something that went behind the bed and the dust/dirt was really bad.

A perfect stay for my solo trip

The location was perfect for my solo trip which involved visiting this part of Colorado that I had never been to. Very closely located (5min drive) to Orvis Host Springs, bar and food restaurant inside the hotel made it easy to want to stay close without sacrificing fun. Even a dispensary and amazing food (Greenwoods), and a gas station/convenience store within walking distance! Bed was super comfy and the recently updated rooms felt fresh and new. Located right at the turn for Telluride only a short hop from Montrose and 10 minutes from beautiful Ouray, I'll definitely be back!
