Would not reccomend. Thank goodness it was only for two nights. We were in a musty and moldy smelling room. I immidiately asked to switch rooms and they said it would be $300 more to switch. So I said no. Or wait for the next day and they would clean it. But by 4am we couldn't take it. Couldn't sleep. So I went to the desk and they said I'd have to wait till the next day as they had no rooms. The second room was a lot better. But still had a smell. I also booked here in hopes of using their hot tub. But be aware you can not wear swim suits. It's a nude thing. Not my cup of tea. So we were quite disappointed in the stay overall. The area is very busy with restaurants. Subway is close by.
Once you figure out what building you're its easy. The staff was great and they speak multiple languages. The room was really nice and all the amenities were excellent. Only thing was the sauna and onsen is no tattoos. Great visit. Will use again
We stayed in a smaller family room and it was a comfortable stay for a short visit with little luggage. The smaller rooms are a trade off for being right in the heart of the Ueno market area. There are unlimited restaurant choices, shops and markets right outside the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is also super close to Ueno station which accesses JR and subway lines and the Skyliner to Narita. Ueno is a great spot to explore all of Tokyo from as a base.
Room for four people is very tight. It's fine if you have kids, but it is quite cramped and you will be squeezing past one another in the corridor.
Bathroom door swings outward so be careful!
They have some basic sundries if you forget anything, which is good. And the beds are rather comfortable. Lots of places to eat in the area, and very convenient to the Skyliner - 5 minute walk.
Overall, not bad for a one night stay. Might not be for something longer.
Property was located just steps from train lines. Centrally located with excellent food options on streets and vendor shopping. Bathrooms were smaller than expected but normal for Tokyo area.
The location is amazing! It is very close everything we wanted to see and a big major train station where you can catch and transfer to major train lines.
one point needs to be shared. I lost a door card, and asked them to re issue one, which they require 3,000 Jpy. I think this the first time re issueing a card key is charged
