Terrific modern hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. We upgraded so it wasn’t too cramped for two people. Excellent bedding and towels. Staff is wonderful and very friendly. Good food.

The staff were unpleasant; even the hotel manager didn't say a word to welcome us or say goodbye. Unbelievable! The service was minimal; even a simple request was refused. I will never set foot in this hotel again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is top flight. Any aspect considered, they were effective in presentation and execution: a clean room, English speaking and well-mannered staff, a proper breakfast menu, and of all things, a rooftop bar. I really should stay at this property again if I visit Tokyo in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. The room was immaculate every single time it was cleaned. Always gave us fresh clean new slippers, night gown. Always filled up coffee bar along with a large water bottle every time our room was cleaned. The staff here were very kind and helpful. From the check in to the restaurant and any other staff members. Thank you for the beautiful memories in Japan.

This was our first stay at a Kimpton property and we were underwhelmed. We had a corner suite, which was slick and modern with beautiful views of the city. But we just didn’t feel welcome there. The lobby is tiny and check-in felt rushed and robotic. The “rooftop bar” that is lauded in their literature is equally tiny. When we needed a taxi, there was usually no one around to organize it. And when there was someone outside at valet, we were completely ignored. In fact, one time the valet processed the delivery of a package right in front of us for five minutes, ignoring us until we got between him and the package. For $1000 a night, we expected more. Especially after staying at Dusit Thani Kyoto beforehand (which was exceptional).

The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. It was also quiet. There was a yoga mat already in the room which was great (it's in all the rooms!), as well as a fluffy robe, pajamas and a yukata. Highly recommend!
