We really enjoyed our stay at Toyoko Inn Kabukicho. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was convenient before heading out each day. The location is very central and close to transportation, restaurants, and nightlife. However, Kabukicho is definitely one of the rougher and busier parts of Tokyo, especially at night, so travelers should be aware of that. Despite the area, we still felt safe overall and had a great experience staying here.

The room was fine, basic but no major complaints. There was air conditioning in the room which was adequate to cool the room, it did struggle a small bit on the warmer days (30 C) of my stay. Basic breakfast available was okay too. The location was amazing, right in the middle of Shinjuku in Tokyo. Everything in Shinjuku was just a short walk away and the hotel also managed to be quiet at night. Excellent location and a discount price too. Would recommend for a cheap, convenient stay in Shinjuku.
