"Peak A View" on kaunis, räätälöity, puusta valmistettu, kolmen makuuhuoneen mökki, joka on sekä yksityinen että eristäytynyt ja tarjoaa hienon pakopaikan metsäisillä näkymillä luonnon ympäröimänä, ja pienen paikan päällä sijaitsevan järven kalastukseen.

Tämä Townsendin ja Wears Valleyn välissä sijaitseva helppokäyttöinen kiinteistö on noin viiden minuutin päässä Townsendistä, 15 minuutin päässä Pigeon Forgesta ja reitistä riippuen 25-35 minuutin päässä Gatlinburgista. Päällystetyt tiet johtavat sinut aina tähän kauniiseen mökkiin. Tätä kaunista metsäistä retriittiä pidetään moottoripyörän ja perävaunun ystävällisenä. Neljälle ajoneuvolle on mukava pysäköinti.

Tämä kolmen makuuhuoneen, kahden ja puolen kylpyyksikkö on kolmella tasolla ja nukkuu 11 ihmistä. Matkustamon päätasolle on 16 askelta. Alempaan tasoon ei pääse, paitsi loistavalta kannelta, josta on näkymät lampille. Pääsivustolle pääsyssä on oleskelutila, jossa on kivipinoinen takka, kuningatar-vuodesohva, rakkausistuin, keinutuoli, lisätuoli ja taulutelevisio.

Pohjapiirros on avoin parvella ja tarjoaa lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat, jotka sallivat runsaasti luonnollista valoa ja upeat näkymät lampille. Siellä on täysin varustettu keittiö, jossa on ruokailutila 8 hengelle ja lisää baaripaikkoja 4 hengelle. Siellä on myös Master King -makuuhuone, jossa iso vaatehuone ja vierekkäinen kylpy, jossa on vain suihkukaappi. Pesukone ja kuivaaja sijaitsevat myös tällä tasolla yhdessä puoli kylpyammeen kanssa. Suuri kannella on kaksi kuistilla keinut, patio huonekalut, kaasugrilli, ja tarjoaa kauniit näkymät lampi ja upea paikka syödä aterioita.

Mökin ylemmällä parvi-alueella on kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta. Yksityinen kuningatar ja täysi parvella, jokaisessa on suuret kaapit ja jaettu täysi kylpyamme suihkulla / kylpyammeella. Avoimesta alueesta, josta on näkymät olohuoneeseen, löydät kuningatar-vuodesohvavuodesohvan, kahden hengen sohvan ja foosball-pöydän.

Vaikka mökin alin taso on keskeneräinen ja saavuttamaton, alemman tason kuistilla on silti lumoavat näkymät lampi, iso piha, sekä taloja suuri kahdeksan hengen kylpytynnyri ja lisäpatiohuonekalut.

The jacuzzi tub that appears in the pictures was not available. The bedding is dingy and outdated. The stove kept giving an error code. The couch in the loft has stains all over it. The foosball table had one ball that was broken. Overall, we were not pleased with the cabin.

Nice location, Convenient to Pigeon Forge

There were a few things that made this property fall short. First, it is a lovely cabin nestled into the mountains. The area around it is beautiful. The cabin is generally will maintained. It is actually a cozy cabin. I was disappointed with the rate per night and the place did not have any internet. It's located in an area that does not get cell signal. The phones were useless to have our own hot spots work. There is only one small tv which we didn't use. TV in the master bedroom would be a must at this price. The hot tub was not turned on. It was cold. It was useless to us on our first night as it took many hours to hear up. It finally got up to useful temperature, but it was too late on Saturday night for us to use it. I paid $30 extra for this amenity which was wasted. The whirlpool tub in the photos in the master bath, is off limits. Making this an amenity in the pictures that you're not allowed to use. There are two bedrooms. The beds in the lift area are small. Two teens could not fit in one so they were forced to use the couch down stairs and take turns using the bed . The profile states it sleeps nine. Not comfortably. The driveway is a challenge for anyone in an automobile. It is about a 30 degree incline. You have to turn around, back up to the garage door and floor it to get the momentum to make the incline. My F250 crawled up without a problem. My Kia Mini Van struggled.

A Disappointing Stay

We arrived at the property to find the exterior in disarray. There was garbage on the lower desk and the hot tub had a foot of water and bugs in it. Despite the listing claiming to have wi-fi there was no internet and 1 small tv for a house that “sleeps 9”. The jacuzzi tub listed as an amenity and shown in the photographs on VRBO was not working and the sharpie note posted above it stated “not an amenity available”. Every dish we selected to use was covered in grime and build up and the table was covered in what we hope was old food and something sticky all over it. The shower upstairs had no water pressure at all which left a cabin that sleeps 9 with one stand up shower. The mouse droppings on the up stairs bathroom cabinet was the final straw. I could have rented a cabin at half the price i paid for this one if I didn’t want the amenities that were listed and promised. I understand things happen. Despite reaching out to vacasa “the cabin owners” the moment we arrived and found such a mess all they could do was refund a minimal cleaning fee. The cabin was disappointing but the managements unwillingness to make things right was perhaps even more disappointing.

Worst experience ever

We finally got to our location by driving down further than where the GPS leads you . ( some random , empty lot ) very dusty , pollen everywhere. Everything is outdated . Newest qppliance would be the dishwasher . Pillows are a yellow/orange. Shower sprays everywhere but your head . Pollen was brushed off the hot tub cover just enough to see the faded directions . Sounds of mice or bats in the ceiling . Barely any towels or toiletries for a 3 day stay with 4 adults and 2 kids ! We were ready to RUN back to our hotel . Did not receive a welcome packet. And there is no service, wifi or landlines in case of emergency . Looked as though someone lives here and just leaves or lives downstairs when it is rented out .

Friends Get Away for Cades Cove race

Enjoyed our stay. Overall - great stay. The condition of the driveway should be mentioned in the listing. Enjoyed a technology-free weekend. Some bugs in kitchen area so 4 on cleanliness.

Mixed review of this property. Beautiful location and home. BIG roach problem in the kitchen. Jacuzzi water smelled HORRIBLE. Frustrating that garden tub (pictured in the listing) didn't work. The place was beautiful though. Would not recommend for those that would have difficulty getting out and raking the driveway.

Pros and Cons of the Townsend

The views were amazing, nice and quiet is what we were looking for which it worked for us. No service, so you got the experience to get in touch with nature if your into that, but cannot get ahold of anyone which can be a concern. Hot tub was nice the jets could be upgraded, was disappointed the jacuzzi bathtub was in the pictures online but there was no accessing it which was a bummer because that was something I was looking forward to. Seen plenty bear families which made it exciting yet nervous because they almost came in the gate to the hottub when me and my spouse were in it ha. Would recommend to those who do not mind bears and not having service while staying there!

Well when we arrived thought the Jacuz zi Would help my husband's knee but it said it wasn't advertised even though it's in the picture Did not realise there were stairs I thought we were going to be on the bottom so my husbands knee was not good and the hot tub is on the bottom . We tryed to play cornhole but the bear would not let us . Than the cub came on the deck we closed the gate but we cooked on the grill so it was on the deck .we could not go to the pond because there is no whey to get down there the kitchen was nice but whan we got done eat a little roach came out and i went to get the bread out of the cabinet and i guess a mouse ate a hole in the side of the bag so no bread and i had to take everything out of the cabent and put it in a tote . O and dont buy any dvds because that aint even hooked up and dish did not have much on it . For the money not happy and the bear there every day it has a trail . My granddaughter was scared she was crying they wanted to go to the hot tub or go for a walk but they were afraid to.

Nice place but not a 5 star property

We had a nice vacation and Vacasa was easy to deal with as well. There are a few things that renters should be aware of. This is rented as a 3 bedroom property but I find it difficult to call a loft with a bed an actual bedroom. Since it’s open to the downstairs and there isn’t a way to close it off privacy could be an issue for some. Our children slept in that part so privacy wasn’t an issue but the TV below could be heard up there so getting to sleep could be a problem for some. Each bedroom lacks a TV so everyone was gathered around the one TV in the living room each night trying to find something appropriate for ages 7-60. Not always an easy task but we made it work. The hot tub is also on the lower deck and that part of the cabin is not part of the rental. Kind of a strange setup but the kids didn’t mind going down there. Every mattress in the cabin is worn out and there is no cushion left in any of them. After sleeping there for the week all of us were pretty sore from the beds and couldn’t wait to sleep in our own beds. The kitchen and bathrooms are nice but they are not 5 star rated and lack the fit an finish you may expect from the pictures. It contains all basic builder grade materials such as laminate counters and such throughout. If you are looking for high quality finishes then this is not the place for you. The cabin lacks wireless Internet which I didn’t think would be an issue until our cell phones went out of service due to the location. With no wireless it’s hard to make plans for the next day or make reservations during the busy season so plan accordingly. The location is beautiful and convenient to the attractions but I feel like you are giving up some comfort for this cabin. We did have an empty propane tank for the grill but the property managers had it replaced within a few hours so that was nice. Overall this is a solid 3 star rental but next time I will shop around a little more now that I know my way around and what’s available.

Family Cabin Adventure

We had an amazing time at “Peak A View” cabin. Great place and the fact that we had no WiFi, was a great time to catch up and spend private time with our kids. Can’t wait to return...😁👍❤️

Disappointed in TN

We have been coming to the smoky mountains for 5 years straight, in fact this trip was our 2nd in 2020, compared to other cabins we have stayed in this cabin was subpar wrt cleanliness and attention to detail for guests needs. Cabin was dirty upon arrival, dishes in the dishwasher, some of the dishes in the cupboards were wet and nasty. No complimentary dish detergents, missing soaps in one of the bathrooms, 3 of the 4 beds had no top sheets and there were no extra sheets for the pull out couch (which we needed to use for this trip). Main bathroom not cleaned thoroughly as floor and tub had evidence of previous guest(s). No extra towels to accommodate all guests for 2 days. We had to make due on the first night after a long drive but it took 3 calls to guests services the next day to finally get some sheets and extra towers delivered late on the 2nd (last) day. Cabin had no phone nor internet, while guest serves reminded me that it wasn't in the brochure; however wifi, and a backup phone, is standard in all cabins I've every rented and shouldn't be skipped to save money on operating costs, at minimum it is a safety issue with poor cell service in the area. Cabin was advertised as 3 levels to make it seem larger, but again the fine print in the brochure says that the first floor is just a deck. Additionally, the jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom was broken, but instead of fixing it there was a sign posted that we didn't pay for this amenity . Overall poor experience with this rental property especially since we paid a premium price for a holiday stay.

Had bear there every day,even on the deck.

Did not use the outside hot tub because it is on the basement deck and you can't get in the basement because it is locked. Master bedroom tub is out of order.

AWESOME PLACE

This home is very spacious and beautiful. It is very secluded and private. We had 9 adults and had plenty of parking room. The wildlife around there is awesome. We saw a few bears every morning and evening wandering around. You can make calls / texts, but there is no wifi. They just had new furniture delivered there that day, very nice! I will absolutely go back to this cabin in the future.

Peaceful Retreat

We truly enjoyed this cabin. It is secluded, no internet and spotty cell service but was well worth the time we got to spend with each other. The property owners were there, on bottom level. They are great people, very nice and helpful. We saw lots of bears and other wildlife. Close enough to town but far enough out for peace and quiet. They were getting new living room furniture the week after we were there so I’m sure it is more comfortable. Vacasa was the only issue we had. We had an emergency and called the 24 hour help line. I stayed on hold for 35 minutes. Thank goodness the property owners were there to help us out. We would definitely stay here again.

Wasted money

This place is totaled runned down. The couches where dingy and springs broken. Out dated horrible. The heater made such a racket all.night I could not rest. Shower curtain was disgusting. I don't have one good thing to share about this place. So sad that VRBO can't personally go look before allowing people to rent out junk. I paid way to many dollars for two nights and left after the first night.

Comfortable secluded cabin

First, the cabin was hard to find in the dark— no lights or reflectors at the gate at least, so we passed it and ended up at a deadend. We had a very nice relaxing stay, the place us generally clean, appliances are new, beds are comfortable. The master bedroom bathroom has no door or division, therefore no privacy at all. Not my preference even though married for 27 years. The shower needs some updating. Kitchen appliances are new and spotless, but the coffemaker has problems with the drip. Wifi would be nice and cell signal is spotty. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
