The lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The condition of this hotel however is pretty bad. I know it is an old building but it has a very bad smell black mold in the bathroom and idk if I was allergic to something or what but I was broken out in hives and itchy so bad I finally couldn’t take it anymore and left after SIX hours. The pool is really nice though.

The room smelled of urine and pine cleaner combined. The toilet wouldn't flush completely. There was a gap under the door that allowed critters to get into the room.

I waited over 15 minutes to check in because there was no one at the desk.The tub was filthy and stained, the hotel is old and could use some upgrades. The bed squeaked every time I turned. The breakfast was limited. I would not recommend.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pool is clean and well-kept, and the area feels safe and quiet, making it easy to rest. What could be better: The property is showing some age and could use updates, especially in the rooms and common areas. Breakfast options are basic, and Wi-Fi speed can be inconsistent. Summary: A solid choice for short stays in Troy with great service, a nice pool, and a convenient location.
