Great stay

Great location and easy to get to, 2 flights of stairs to our room(no elevator) but manageable with suitcases. This is probably my favourite hotel I have ever stayed in. Great atmosphere, attentive staff.

Venice is an incredible city and this hotel is quintessential Venice. We were in an adjacent building, overlooking the canal and the bridge to the main building. The room was spacious, and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast included lots of choices. Getting to the hotel was easy via Vaporetto from the train station. Highly recommend.

The room was victorian style. Very beautiful and clean. The only thing I would suggest ti have a larger sign. We had a hard time finding walking to it.

Property is a little tricky to find when coming from San Marco Area, via vaporetto 1 is easy to locate it. The GPS sometimes help, sometimes don't. Walkable to Venice main attractions. Staff super nice. Breakfast good with very friendly staff.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay for our first time in Venice! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was consistent with meats, cheeses, pastries, eggs, etc., and the staff brought coffee prepared however we asked. The room and bathroom were spacious, especially for Europe, and the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Venice with very little foot traffic, yet only a 10-15 minute walk to all the popular areas of the city. There were a few restaurants, a gelato shop, and Coop market just 3 minutes away. And the water bus stop is only 1 minute away! We can't wait to return for our next stay in Venice!

Very nice experience

We had a very nice experience at Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo. First of all, customer service is really amazing. The staff is available all the time and allways willing to help. The only minus is that in the room the air was a bit humid ( I think due to the fact that the room was not oriented on the sunny side). But also in the room there was an air purifier. Breakfast was good, with a big variety. If we ever come back to Venice, we will stay there again.

Fabulous stay!

Stayed 2 nights in this beautiful old world hotel with my husband. The hotel is spotless and has all amenities you would require. Extremely comfortable bed. Beautiful toiletries provided in bathroom. All of the staff were very friendly but special mention to breakfast staff who were exceptional. Delicious breakfast from 8 am to 10 am each morning. The hotel stored our baggage for us the last day which allowed us to make the most of our time.

Hugely positive experience

Excellent 4 night stay at this hotel. The location couldn’t be better, just a minute’s walk from the water bus stop on the canal, yet it is very quiet. The staff are exceptionally helpful and our (superior) room was spacious, well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Very clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast is excellent- a self service buffet with a great variety of options including delicious pastries. A great find for us and if we return to Venice we will definitely stay here

The staff is very professional. The rooms are nicely decorated. Hotel is less than a minute walk to the Vaporetto stop. Breakfast has everything a person needs to start the day. Would stay here again.

Stay in Venice

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which was located in more of a local neighborhood rather than the busy city center of Venice. Check-in was fairly simple and professional. We had a smaller room but it got the job done. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, which can make things tricky when you have big suitcases. The breakfast was solid and they have rooms eat in shifts to prevent overcrowding.

Staff are really friendly and those in reception can’t do enough for you. Easy access from the hotel to the Rialto etc. Our room was well appointed, a lovely surprise with its old traditional wall covering, carpets and marble flooring. The bed was so comfy. Even has a fridge in the room. Breakfast in the courtyard is an added bonus … reception staff have a novel way to keep the pigeons away .. a water pistol!
