Only thing doors dirty, ceiling holes from water damage need to get fixed, they are opening up, leave a stiffer mop attachment for customer to help clean, otherwise we truly enjoyed the place, quiet neighborhood, easy beach access.

Beautiful home on a quiet dead end street but beach access is steep

Wonderful stay and renovated house was really nice. Beautifully set on a quiet street. While Waldport is very small and everything closes early, it was situated close to bigger areas and was perfect for us. Our only concern was that the beach access is not very accessible for all visitors. It was very steep, rundown and rickety. My parents were not able to get down it so we had to find accessible beaches near by to visit. Thankfully there are a few close to the house.

Excellent spot at the coast!

My family enjoyed our stay. It had all of our needs covered and was comfortable. The kids appreciated that there were some games available. They also appreciated the light-blocking curtains so they could fall asleep easily after a long day! Not a huge deal, but the doors and door frames could use a scrub. Small details, but it stood out in a home that was otherwise quite spotless. :)

Nice quiet area with a view

Nice remodel of an older home, close to the beach. View of the bridge from the beach (not from the house). Miles of sand for walking. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped for a Thanksgiving dinner and we even got lucky with the weather: 4 out of 5 days were sunny which is pretty lucky in November in Oregon. The only suggestions I'd have are some new teflon pots as all the teflon was scratched. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay!

The place had all that we needed to cook meals. They had a few spices to use. Nice and close to the beach across the street. We watched many beautiful sunsets from the front deck. A quick drive to a few larger towns and many sights to see.

Great stay!!!

We had a nice time!! Furniture could be updated and cleaner. Bed was very comfy. Would be nice to have a TV in bedroom and directions on how to use fireplace. Was so nice having a washer/dryer with soap!! Will definitely stay again one day!!

Weekend Beach Trip

Spent a long weekend at the house. The house was clean, comfortable. Nice main room plus spacious back room for second hang out space. We had quick and easy beach access with lots of room to walk and play with our daughter and dog. Great Bistro right around corner plus nice kitchen for cooking in

great location for beach walking

The house is just across a narrow lane from the beach, and a beach access. The path is steep, but has very effective non-skid grating. However, at the bottom, there's a drop of a couple feet to small boulders. This drop, and the uneven rocks, make it unsuitable for anyone who's not reasonably fit. Getting back up to the path would, again, be a challenge if you can't scramble up the several foot vertical gap. The house was well fitted out with comfy furniture, and lots of bedding/blankets and towels. A back room has some games, puzzles, and books. Washer/dryer in the back, too. The kitchen needs more pans. Lots of huge pots suitable for boiling crab, but only one small saucepan. Otherwise, it was adequate for our needs. It was, overall, clean and well maintained, although we discovered there'd been a white dog there. Our socks picked up quite a bit of dog hair from the carpet, as did our clothes from the living room furniture and throw/blanket. I would certainly stay there again!

Wonderful home

Spotless home with everything you need. Beach access is steps away from the front door, lots of places to hike or explore the OR coast within 15 min up or down the road. Check in and check out were super easy via text messages. Clean and comfortable stay would definitely come again!

Perfect Location

Beach access was right across from the house. The road in front of the house is a dead end drive way to many other houses. The house was clean and comfortable. The king bed was the best bed I have ever slept on away from home. Will for sure be back. Didn't need it, but was not able to locate the second lock-box however.

This should NOT be a vrbo or vacasa property! The property is in poor condition. Yes, we had a great time visiting Waldport, Newport and Yachats. No, I didn't like this moldy, grubby, run down house :(

Comfortable Home in a Great Location

Stayed here with our 2 dogs and 2 young-adult children. It was very suitable for our needs and the location/access to the beach was great! Very low traffic on the beach during our mid-week stay. The path down to the beach was very steep, which was fine for us but may be tricky for some. I did not notice any other access nearby. A couple things that could be improved: the freezer does not get cold enough and our ice cream was very soft/almost melting; there are carpet tacks poking through in the doorways and where the carpet meets the wood--I don't know how many times I poked my toes, and it could be very painful for less callused feet than ours. If I stay again I will bring my own cloth napkins, as there are none in the house, and serving utensils, as I could not find any. Otherwise, it had everything we needed.

Beach lovers dream

We loved this vacation rental property and would stay there again in a heartbeat! Its extremely close proximity to a beautiful beach was a definite advantage, but the property itself was also great. It was very spacious, clean, newly renovated bathrooms, very comfortable master bedroom mattress. It had everything we needed plus a few extras we didn't expect. We can't wait to return!

Awesome location

The main bathroom had a dirty towel in the tub and the tub was dirty our bedroom the sheet rock was torn off the wall and the shower and water lines were exposed it was very messy and dusty sheet rock all over the entry.. I have pictures of everything if you want me to send them

Great place!

The positive reviews seemed accurate. The place was outdated, but clean and in a GREAT location! Easy and safe walk down a path to a perfect beach. Our mid-size pooch loved the house and the fenced back yard. We would rent this house again.

Great Location

This place was very musty, especially the back bedroom and back room..... we really had to let it air out. There was a pile of debris under dining table, dryer was crazy loud, fridge wasn’t working and we had to use our cooler, hot water stopped working... had to flip a breaker switch, closets had no hangers, our bedroom had 2 small nightstands and nowhere to put clothes... lived out of our duffel bags., raccoons got into the trash by the house and garbage was strewn all over the yard, street, and beach access path lol. I was there for the fishing/crabbing, and wasn’t at the house except for the evenings. It was a little place that grew on us eventually. Because of the price, view, beach access, and location, I would stay here again. There are just parts of the home that are very old and musty, and I wouldn’t want to have to stay in the one bedroom or spend time in the back part of the home.
