Our room had to be changed because the heat did not work in the first room but the staff was very accommodating and able to get us into a second room as quickly as possible. The hotel restaurantat the Grandview did not open till 12 o’clock on Saturday. I expected it to be opened by at least 11 am. I had to wait to have lunch at a later time need to take meds. It was not able to do so until I had my meal which was 1:00 PM. To me, the hotel needed to be updated. The furnishings were that is nice as I anticipated them to be from the pictures. However, the bathroom was huge and there was lots of space to spread out your bathroom toiletries. Also, everything was very clean, even though things were old and needed updating. Even on a busy highway in Wasilla, Alaska, the hotel was pretty quiet at night not a lot of noise from the road. The hotel had a steep door entrance, which I thought was unaccommodating for people with mobility issues. They were renovating the entrance area because of an issue with their entrance, but it was hosted. What the issue was. It was nice to let customers know what was happening with the hotel the food I had in the restaurant was very delicious and the white stuff was very nice and able to serve it quickly.
