I was very happy, it was quiet, and peaceful from the view of the stars at night to the sunrise and sunset over the lake. Great location, near to town, waterfalls, wooded trails, lake and wineries. The staff was very friendly, I would definitely recommend and stay again.

the room was clean, with appealing decorative style. We loved the on site restaurant and the grounds. Felt welcoming and relaxing, with gazebos and sprawling lawn to the lake view. Fire pit at night was a nice touch. We would love to return!

We recently stayed at the Lakeside Resort and rented a cabin with two queen beds. The cabin was clean and had comfortable beds. The property is beautiful and worth the walk to explore the trails. While we didn't have dinner at the bistro, the breakfast was wonderful. Overall, we loved this property and would definitely come back.

The staff were extra helpful. The facilites were rustic but clean. The fire pit and view of the lake were awesome. There was a guest lounge room that supplied a vending machine for smores, a restroom, filtered water, coffee and hot chocolate.

This is a nice facility with good central location for moving around the finger lakes region. My wife and I spent four nights at lakeside and especially liked its location for hiking the area's gorges and seeing other attractions. We stayed in one of the King Bed Cabins and it was nice. Strangely, while the cabin was spacious there were no closets or dressers to put your cloths in. We used a table from the patio and set up the ironing board to set our packing bags on so didn't have to root through our suit cases every time we wanted something. Also, renters should be aware that the tap water has a very strong odor (Sulfer/rotten egg|). There is filtered water available in the lounge area for those who prefer to drink that. Of course you still have to get by the smell when showering etc. Other than those caveats this is a good place to stay.

The property is outstanding in its layout, well managed landscaping and cozy amenities such as a fire pit (already started by staff) surrounded by Adirondack chairs, indoor and a covered patio for dining (since it’s a dog friendly resort) and even a special doggie menu at the resort’s restaurant. The star employee has to be Rocky the black lab, who greets everyone as they arrive to check in or have a meal. The staff were 98% attentive, up to the last day when there was no one at the front desk to talk to. The wait staff just looked and ignored the woman who had been waiting at the desk first, she gave up and left. So I stepped up in line to see if anyone was going to address me, or at least tell me someone would be back in about X number of minutes. Nope, the two ladies I saw just glanced at me quickly then went into the kitchen area. I waited several minutes, then gave up also. All previous interactions had been fabulous, so I’m thinking these were new hires who didn’t know what to do. It will not prevent us from renting a cabin at Lake Side Resort in the future though.
