Blues Cafe weekend

Room was just fine. Breakfast is Belgium waffle maker and cereals and some breads, fruit and dairy. No meat or egg items. Not what I would consider to be a deluxe breakfast as touted on the literature at the hotel. Not even a precooked microwaveable sausage/egg/cheese biscuit. So don't count on that.

Not worth the stay!

Hard bed - woke up with body aches. Water to shower had a weird taste. Cracks all over the place (floor, wall, shower, bathroom) Drawers were broken. Breakfast was sad - coffee was nasty, water dispenser had gunk coming out DONT STAY HERE.

Had problems at checkin because we did not arrivw together. Staff made a second key that was left at the desk, but refused to give it to my +1 even with his name on the room. No staff present to fix stuff just a kiosk.

Good experience staying here but poor customer service at check-in. Check-in waited over 10 mins.at 6 PM evening to find someone to to check us in and get room while stay was already paid for and Expedia itinerary in hand. Person at desk talked very quickly to get rid of us and not explanatory where room was in the motel. We found it on our own.

Good for the price.

It was clean and nice. I thought the bed was quite hard though and the pillows were tiny. It was worth the money, it was less than $100 and we were there just there to pretty much sleep. The pool and hot tub were nice also.

Bathtub needs to be replace(coating delaminating), no kleenex, cracked sink counter. Breakfast offerings included extremely ripe bananas, juice dispenser didn't work, waffle mix was watery, but cooked OK. Room was clean! No snow removal until after departure at 10:00am. Had to walk thru deep snow to get to pack up car.

If I could give this establish it negative stars, I would first of all they lied on their website. Their pool is down for renovations so is there hot tub however it is nothing new. I attempted to stay at this hotel several years ago and they had the same lies posted that it was down for renovations. I ordered a whirlpool suite and received a regular room. I tried to explain to the front desk that this is not what I ordered or paid for I even had video confirming this was not a whirlpool suite and they refused to give me my riom

The pool room was closed on arrival and there was no notice of this on Expedia. When checking into the room, we were given the wrong room and the room was dirty and the tub had rust stains all over it. Attempted to talk with staff about the situation and the staff was rude and gave no help. No accommodations were made and the room was cancelled due to uncleanliness.

For the price, it was a very nice, clean hotel, great breakfast, staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The down side was that the pool was under renovation and the kids were disappointed about that. If it was noted anywhere on the site, I missed it and several other guests did also that also booked thru a site, not directly.

Virtual check in is not personable, they charged my card before i got there was going to pay cash, pool/hot tub out of order, flooring in room was cold, shower seemed dirty, vanity was broken, and there was food crumbs in the corner of the room. Only good thing was the pillows were soft.
