People above fme made noise for hours in the middle of the night. Room had dirty carpet and dirty floors. Bay view was nice and beds were well-made and clean. Wore socks due to dirty carpet. Socks were black before I left so I threw them away. Desk clerk was polite and apologetic for noise. I asked for a refund for the night I could not sleep and it was not granted. They refused.

We opting for the hotel because of price and because the pictures made it appear like it was relatively clean/updated. We understand this is an old motel but our room did not resemble photos and was very dated. We could have gotten past that but the floors were so dirty and grimy we had to purchase sandles just to wear in the room. We did request housekeeping but even on that day they never cleaned the floors - so gross. The toilet backed up and the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. We did not utilize the outdoor pool but the indoor pool and hot tub had both debris in the water and were in very poor condition (chipping). The area did seem safe and it was relatively quiet but could not get past the poor cleanliness - especially if the floor.

Reasonable price for a place to stay in Cape Cod with a comfortable room and amenities such as a pool & hot tub. Located along the main drag in Yarmouth and not far from Hyannis.

We were attending a Celebration of Life on the Vineyard and wanted a less expensive option for our accommodations. We had stayed here several years ago, (before we started traveling with our dog). Cape Sands was a reasonable drive for places we wanted to visit, particularly Hyannis. It's also a reasonable drive to the Steamship Authority parking lot. Be sure to check out the view in the back. We were fortunate to overlook the lagoon and had a beautiful view of the sunrise and all the wading birds before starting our day.

Room smelled of bleach so much that we had to keep the exhaust in the bathroom the entire stay. The walls were paper thin and heard talking, doors shutting, ambulance and knocking from 12-6:30am. So many people were walking, smoking, and making noise outside of the room that I was unable to sleep the whole night.

Everything was wonderful and relaxing. I went with my daughters and they were delighted. They just need to improve the cleanliness of the pools and the dining area where they have the microwave is a little neglected.

very friendly staff !! great large clean parking lot . nice outdoor area .. room could have used a better cleaning before check in … bathroom floor and room carpet need a good scrub… kept slippers on at all times.. beds were comfortable and clean fridge and TV were perfect as well . outdoor pool nice .
