Located close to the town as well as the entrance to Yellowstone, this hotel meet our needs. They have a breakfast buffet for those who want to eat and go. Selection was good enough for us. If you want to use the menu for your breakfast, they give you a $10 credit off the meal. We chose to stay in the motel and could park right outside our room which was great. Our window didn’t really lock, but this town feels safe enough. The workers in the kitchen don’t even lock their bikes while they work. We went into the restaurant for dinner one night. Several things on the menu were either not available (“we are out of…), or never really matter it anyway. I guess it’s early in the season and they haven’t updated their menu or planned their orders accordingly for guests. We ordered the elk/bison kebab which my husband said was very tender and tasty… but he was one of the last people to get one that night as they ran out… at 5:30pm! Well before the dinner crowd. I had the stuffed pork which was tasty but on the dry side.

Property is really spread out. It was a block hike to the Ice machine,which we only found after asking the second day. Good buffet breakfast in their restaurant.

The accomodations were sufficient with a king size bed, air conditioning . It appears to be an older property that needed a little updating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delightful.
