Eagle's Nest: a cozy cabin beneath the pines

Nestled among the pines, this cozy studio cabin offers a peaceful base for your Glacier getaway. Wake to the sound of birds and the rustle of squirrels in the trees, and sip your morning coffee on the front porch while soaking in the fresh forest air. Inside, a comfy queen bed with soft bedding invites you to rest after a day of hiking in Glacier National Park or paddling on nearby Hungry Horse Reservoir—both just minutes away.

The kitchen is stocked for home-cooked meals, and while the cabin is tucked in a wooded setting, it’s part of a small, quiet neighborhood—so you're not far from a sense of community. You’ll likely hear the nearby rumble of passing trains, a nostalgic sound that adds to the cabin’s rustic charm. Small cabin in woods

Cabin was cute and cozy but quite small. Struggled to find room to open our suitcase. Needs railing on front steps.

Cabin stay.

Location is great but it is more like a rv park we were not aware that trains ran all night.

A smallish, clean cabin reasonably close to Glacier NP. Titled ‘in the woods’ and there were trees for sure, but not in the woods as I interpreted the phrase. More like a wooded neighborhood with a lot of trailers in various conditions. It was warm enough that we needed A/C and there is a small window unit but it was right next to the bed and loud. But the most striking thing was a busy railroad about 100 yards away with numerous trains blowing their horn multiple times a night. All in all the location near GNP made it acceptable. It met our needs completely except for maybe not enough sleep.

Not sure how to answer some of the above questions. We never stayed. We had no contact with whoever was running the place. Couldn't find where to check in or how to get into the place. Never received an email or phone call from them. They should offer me some kind of refund.

Comfortable home base to stay while visiting Glacier National Park

We were only there to sleep for two nights while we saw Glacier. While we were there it was very easy to check in and out. Nice little house, clean and comfortable. Could cook and get clean and rested. The porch on the front is nice to sit on and enjoy coffee. There is a train nearby and another rental cabin, a camper, a mobile home, and an under construction house around it.

Small but clean & nice. Convenient to West Glacier & Coram. Did not like that you could pretty much reach out and touch the railroad tracks. Trains ran all night.

I liked that it was literally out in the woods but there are other cabins and homes in the neighborhood. The cabin's kitchen was fully equipped, hot water was instant, great towels. You could hear and feel the trains as they went by but no big deal. I got the Internet on my phone without doing anything special.

Cute little cabin, comfortable bed, nice kitchen with all appliances, reasonable bathroom. a couple miles from the main road, but ok. The only problem was the TRAIN - tracks VERY close and train seemed to come every half hour - hour 9 am until 1230 am, blowing its horn at the nearby crossing. If you don't mind trains, this is a great little place. Host helpful and lives nearby

Nice, but Loud

Overall, nice property if a bit smaller than I anticipated. Cabin is very near train line that made sleep and relaxation difficult. Entire structure vibrated with noise when a train passed by, waking me up several times.

My friend and I chose to stay here because of it's proximity to Glacier National Park. While the space is small, that was perfectly fine for us because we knew we would be outdoors for most of our stay. That being said, this was a great place to stay! Kathy was very accommodating and responsive! She gave us suggestions on what to do and made sure that I got reservations for the park. It was a great place to be. It was clean and had everything that was listed online. This is perfect for 1 or 2 people to stay while visiting the park and surrounding areas. I will definitely look into staying here again next time I'm in the Glacier Park area.

Property was nice with a few caveats

The cabin overall was quite small but clean and tidy. The only exception was the presence of a number of short (1-2 inches) dark hairs in the bedding. The neighborhood included a number of trailers, and nearby train tracks with frequent traffic and nighttime train whistles.

crusty organic matter on sheets

The property is surrounded by construction trash on all sides. The neighborhood is an RV-hood. The curtain rods sag. There was only one option for a bed cover. There were no handrails in the shower. There were no railings on the front stairs. There were no lamps beside the bed. There were only overhead lights. The coffee pot could not be turned on without turning on the overhead lights. But the worst thing that happened was when I slipped into bed the first night I felt something sharp scrape my leg. I turned on the light and found a crusty thing, probably a food item clinging to the bottom sheet, perhaps a potato chip or oatmeal flake from a granola bar? I scraped it off. It looked like there was a little fat discoloration on the top sheet corresponding to the location of the crusty thing. ICK. Not nice. Sheets were very wrinkled, so I HOPED they were washed and dried in a too heavy load of sheets that had not been folded. But you think that the person who made the bed would have discovered the crusty thing.

Studio Cabin

Place had a perfect location for the west entrance of the park and surrounding national forests. Hosts were extremely kind and helpful when asking about recommendations in and around the area. Surrounding area had a lot of debris from the work they were doing on both cabins. There was no fire pit which was slightly disappointing, but not the end of the world. Cabin was perfect size for me and four year old daughter and would definitely return to this location.
