The location is really nice. Very close to train station and a grocery store. The room was decently clean and comfortable, especially for the price. Staff was very kind and the lobby was very nice to work in. I would definitely consider staying again.

We booked 5 days at Volkhotel to celebrate my partner's PhD submission. This hotel was perfect for the occasion. We could sleep in, have a luxurious buffet breakfast in the 7th floor, enjoy some of the cultural activities and shows, have a break playing some table tennis at Riet, stop for glühwine at the Veerkplats conversation pit, and end the day in the 8th floor sauna! The rooms were spotless, staff were helpful with all of our special requests, and truthfully I'm a little bit sad having to leave home today. We could not have asked for a more relaxing holiday. Thank you so much!

Really great space right by a metro station, only a few stops from Central Amsterdam. The hotel has thought of everything you need. The XS room was perfect for us for 3 nights as a couple, super comfortable

Fab hotel but need more staff in the roof top bar

The look and the feel of the hotel was fab and the staff were really friendly. Underground and tram stops close by. The hot tubs on the roof were amazing and such a nice way to chill after long day sightseeing. The only problem was the understaffing of the roof top bar and restaurant. We waited over an hour for our drinks and then they only brought the cocktails and not the cup of tea so we left. The staff were really apologetic but they were just so understaffed ☹️ Because of this we didn’t go back to eat there.
