Great Family Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the Acadia Inn. From check in to check out, the service was wonderful. We ordered the extra Kids Kampout package, which included a small tent and stuffed animal in the room for our kids, which they LOVED. The hotel gave us an extra stuffed animal at that both kids could have a special keepsake. We used the pool one evening, which was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores every night. Breakfast was excellent with tons of options to ensure everyone found something they would like. We enjoyed the walking trail behind the hotel, which connected to the Acadia carriage roads. The shuttle into town was very convenient. We had an issue once evening with loud upstairs neighbors, and the front desk handled it very quickly. If we ever get back to Bar Harbor (hopefully), we will definitely come back to The Acadia Inn!

They offer a very wide variety of breakfast items with a wide span of hours. They even offer gluten free items .This is the first hotel I have encountered with this option .

Walk to Bar Harbor and conveniently located next to Acadia. Stay here! Hotel is clean and finishes aren’t fancy but are newer and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Amenities include: s’mores by the fire, pool, laundry, create your own trail mix 3 mornings a week, popcorn and a movie 3 nights a week. The breakfast was next level with delicious yogurt parfaits and fresh fruit. A gluten-free area was even offered. We appreciated the option to fill water bottles. Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous experience! The staff is so friendly and welcomed our kids with stuffed animals for each of them. Love the fun family vibe, outdoor activities (smores every night ❤️). The only critique I have is that the pool surface was pretty rough and we all have little scratches after swimming. Would stay here again 100%

Hotel has a boutique feel yet has all the comforts of what you can expect. Rooms were clean. Almost all of them has a nice view of the surrounding area. They have a pool, playground and even firepit for smores night. I would definitely recommend and revisit.

We had a great stay at the Acadia Inn! The location is great being only a 25-minute walk into town and a 15-minute drive from Acadia National Park. The hotel staff could not be nicer, and the property was well kept and cleaned and full of fun amenities like a pool, hot tub, included breakfast, smores and firepit some evenings, make your own trail mix some mornings, etc. If you are going to Acadia/Bar Harbor, I highly recommend the Acadia Inn!

Great location. Boat tour access across the road. 20 minute walk into main area or 4 minute drive. Fantastic staff. Decent continental breakfast to start your day. Liked the small touches of making a trail mix in the morning on certain days for your hikes at the park. Clean, spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families.

The staff was amazing! Friendly, attentive, and always taking care of their guests. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Included breakfast was good, better than we expected. Location was great. Not right in town but close to town and Acadia NP. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Acadia Inn! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and replenished daily. Our kids loved the pool, playground, and outdoor games. The breakfast had a big variety each morning! It was such a great, family-friendly stay! They had everything we needed and more!

We loved everything about Acadia Inn. Propery is well maintained, clean and safe. Staff is exceptional, front desk, breakfast staff and cleaning service. Breaksfast every morning was plentiful and always replenished. Entrance to a trail at acadia park in the back of the property. We ordered tickets for the cadillac mountain and were able to use their computer to print the passes. They also have a water bottle filling fountain which was a bonus for all the hiking we did. Close proximity to shopping and dining. They also have a shuttle but not available while we were there. It wasn't an inconvenience since everything is close to the Inn. Would definitely stay here again and tell my friends.
