Hotel canceled my confirmed reservation upon my arrival.
Motel under construction , dirty hallways . Was unable to finish connecting pipes to sink. Hours after check in time. Toxic antibacterial/ Lysol smell . Did not stay, never got call to see about cancelling / getting money back. Not ready to be having customers
Walked to concert. Not able to walk to food options which was a huge drawback for us. Would choose to stay again but definitely drive to grab food before drinking!! 🍸
This place is beyond awful and so run down. So many things wrong from horrible smell to not having working remote or tv. The air conditioning was terribly inadequate No coffee pot in room or coffee service in lobby. Lobby filled with boxes and clutter. Just beyond appalling. I would never recommend for anyone to stay here and if there was a way to get a refund I would be doing that. Super 8 should be embarrassed that you are connected to this facility. Sleeping in my car would have been better but at least the water was hot. Nothing advertised on website was even remotely accurate. Super 8 should dump this hotel so you could have a decent reputation
In addition to the mold and rude staff, there were several groups totaling up to a dozen people hanging out in the parking lot for hours. I felt unsafe going out to my car, although nothing bad actually happened.
Upon checking in, we were told our reservation was canceled and there were not any rooms available. I still showed it active on my Expedia App and never received any type of notification. We found out it happened to others staying that night as well. Rates in the area had doubled since booking the room due to a concert in town. After 45 minutes the hotel miraculously “had a cancellation” and got us into a room. Another guest had the exact same scenario earlier in the day. Are they trying to sell the room for higher rates? Seems odd they all of a sudden had other reservations cancel. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel. Half the lights worked in the room and very limited toiletries in th bathroom.
This was a terrible Hotel, and will never stay there again. We booked this as soon as we got our concert tickets about 5-6 months prior. Upon check in we and other ppm checkibg in were told our reservation was canceled due to over booking on their part and they were not sure if they would have enough rooms. I was told they called and emailed me. I immediately pulled up my emails and messages and had zero messages. It smelled awful and the room was disgusting. If i could give negative stars I would. Awful safe your money and stay somewhere else!!
Hotel cancelled my reservation with less than 24 hours notice, due to a “water leak”. Reading other reviews over the past several months I saw multiple complaints of wet carpets, mold, and dank mildewy odors so this has obviously been a problem for quite a while now and the hotel hasn’t done anything to fix it. Due to the hotel cancelling at the last minute, I was unable to find alternative accommodation because there was a concert that night and all other hotels in the area were sold out. Avoid this dump at all costs.
In all seriousness if the state came in, this place would be shut down. I will be formally reaching out to expedia for a refund, and I NEVER have done that before. There were feces and blood on multiple places in the room and bathroom. Truly gross.
