Staff was nice and friendly, they even let us check in a little early. That was where the nice part stopped, the rooms were very run down, this place needs a facelift. It was missing many things, the AC unit made so much noise I thought it would die I had to shut it off and just use the fan but the room got hot. The carpet was severely worn, the breakfast was very very basic, the cabinet door to the fridge, not stay shut, and a previous staff member had created a makeshift doorstop out of paper to keep the door from swinging open. The curtains were falling off of the main window and were moldy. In the bathroom the curtains wouldn’t stay in place as they would not stay open had to use towels to hold them in place. Terrible overall experience

I was under the impression that we could park for free and take a shuttle. That wasn't the case, we flew out Thursday and back on Sunday and front desk said i would have to pay her $50 and that parking wasn't included in my purchase. Misleading or I'm just an idiot.

Person working at 1:30am on 10/18 was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and kind to my young daughter. Rooms absolutely need some work and AC stopped at 66 degrees, which wasn’t enough to get the room mustiness and mugginess away.

Excellent, I left the Red Roof Inn and switch to Baymont by Wyndham Detroit Airport/Romulus and it was a total excellent experience, and I was at total peace of mind, body, and soul, however, there was only one issue which can be in a somewhat way overlooked in the bathroom ceiling look as if the room above had a water leak and caused slight damage to the ceiling. Other than that it yet still was excellent thank you Baymont..

Clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom and room carpet could have been cleaner. A few lights out and bathroom fan didn’t work. Surprised that Wyndham has this property among their usually higher quality properties.

The airport shuttle was right on time. The rooms and the hotel were nice. Always, etc. were still a little outdated. For some reason. The pillows on the bed were extra small and a little difficult to use overall it was a decent experience.

Shuttle took about 15 minutes to arrive. Check-in and check-out staff were great. Room smelled and felt muggy. My 3yo found a half eaten burger in the space between the headboard and bed as soon as we arrived. Water leaked everywhere from the shower. Breakfast was mediocre.

Problem with the shuttle is that from outside the USA you cannot get in touch with the hotel to confirm details. There is wifi at the airport but no places to purchase a local SIM card. After waiting over an hour and checking with various bus drivers I eventually learnt that the shuttle bus would have the ‘Gateway’ sign on the front. Numerous hotel names on the slide of the bus but nothing to indicate it was the Baymont by Wyndham.
