We never use the workout room or the pool so I couldn’t comment on that and the only concern we had was that the freezer was not working on the refrigerator so our ice cube is never froze. However, there was an ice machine near the main building so we could have had ice had we really needed it It was a very nice place to stay and we would go again.

Super charming place, the type you would expect in a hallmark movie. They had home made cookies and cider in the lobby. The rooms were clean and just like the pictures, no let down!

Honestly it was just an all around wonderful experience. The room and amenities were everything we would expect from Door County and we were close to so many quaint little shops and walking trails. Thank you to the staff, and we even had a wonderful snow fall the morning of our departure. Do yourself and the people you love a favor and book your stay in this little gem.

Overall, we had a nice stay, but for the price, we expected more comfort and attention to detail. The beds, pillows, and bedding were not very comfortable — after three nights, I joked that they should offer in-room massage services to help with the kink in my neck from the rock-hard pillows. The room itself felt a bit run down. The door to the master bedroom wouldn’t close properly, and the ceiling fan didn’t work. Small maintenance issues like that made it feel less polished than we’d hoped. We also noticed the amenities were portioned very conservatively. For example, with four people in our room, we only received enough coffee to make one small 16 oz pot. A few simple upgrades — softer bedding, working fixtures, and more generous amenities — would make a big difference in the overall experience.
