the hotel is minutes away from waikiki beach. i reccomend a warmer welcome. i made a reservation on expedia, expecting to only pay one fee however had to pay serveral fees for each night once i got to the hotel.

Paradise lost, say, about 20 or 30 years ago. It's like a dated Las Vegas hotel with a beach nearby but no gambling. Parking garage horrendously expensive and very, very difficult to use. Elevator wasn't working a couple of days (this must happen frequently, because the hotel posted printed, laminated signs -- they were prepared). Loud Luau (held on a terrace above the extended parking garage -- how lovely the location!) noise invaded our room every night. Daily resort fee (expensive!) tacked on -- surprise! -- when we checked out, although we had prepaid for our room. Took wayyy too long to check in on arrival; some "manager" even came out and took our ID and info but came back and said we still had to wait in line (for the one clerk on the desk). Why could the manager not used some aloha spirit (remember that?) to actually check us in and others who were queueing up in line? Not worth it in any way. Recommend you avoid this place and pick a hotel in some other town (Kaneohe, perhaps?) Oh, I almost forgot to mention the homeless cavalcade milling about across the street at certain times of day where the garage entrance are. Bottom line: Aloha spirit was missing on and off the property.

Such a beautiful, clean and friendly hotel, I had a wonderful experience during my first visit to Oahu, and chose to share that wonderful experience with the rest of my family and entering our most recent visit to the island. It will definitely be back again.

Excellent location, Waikiki beach is a few streets away, lots of food shopping and activities near by. The hotel had great amenities including a lounge/gaming section in the lobby, ie billiards etc. the rooms was clean, on the smaller side but still workable. Did inform staff of honeymoon stay and good some extra perks. Overall, very happy, highly recommended. 10/10 stars.

It's a great place to stay. It's a little far from shopping malls, but still walkable. The property is clean—though it looks a little old, it's still good. I highly recommend it.

When I checked out at the front desk, I was told to pay $50.00/night (total $350.00) resort fees. I was totally surprised. The Expedia reservation paper shows that we were charged $3082.18 for our trip package including roundtrip air thickets (2 travelers) and accommodation (7 nights 1 room). The paper also mentioned locally collected fees/taxes would be $412.86. But there are not any words showing we would need to pay $50/night extra for resort fees. Please send us refund for the no warning $350.00 resort fees.
