The grassy area for our dog was fantastic! Room was very clean. Staff was amazing. Only issue was elevator was out of order and only rooms available were 2nd and 3rd floor but staff was very kind and helped us with our bags.

We got in super late and didn’t know the place was going under renovations which we were able to move past. We were put on the second floor and then told the elevator was out of order. I asked for a room on the first floor and they said they had nothing available. The hotel was dead and lordsburg is very small, so I know they had availability downstairs. We had to make two trips up the stairs with our stuff. Everything creaked and our door to our room was warped and had to force it to close it. The room was dusty and dirty, so it wasn’t cleaned before we got there. They could have at least checked it before. I had to get cleaning supplies to clean the room and bathroom. I checked the sheets and the 2 different mattress covers had a big urine stain and a drop of blood. I was both exhausted and furious. They didn’t offer to change the room, but they did bring up new mattress covers. It was almost midnight at the time, so I had no energy to make a big fuss and on top of that, I was there for funeral services. The shower floor creaked really bad and the room smelled weird. I had been there like 10 years ago and it was a great place, but it has gone down hill after that.

The property is under renovation. The elevator was not working and we had to take the stairs. The front desk person was very apologetic about the elevator and I felt she was trying to do all that she could, there were no bottom floor rooms available. She did provide us with bottled water to apologize, however we heard from other guests that it often is not working. The breakfast was really nice and Rosa (the woman working it)was the best. She was very attentive and went out of her way to check on everyone.
