There was homeless people in the parking garage. The guy at the desk seemed as though we were an inconvenience, was rude about the fact we had a vehicle, the room was only half cleaned, there was police dealing with issues with other guests. No mention of breakfast.

This place is horrible. The bed was hard as a rock, the furniture should have been out on the curb 10 years ago. I was sort of clean, bit towels looked old and dingy. I had to use my hands. I couldn't wait to leave.

i stay at this hotel very often but they lack communication , I left a pair of $50 sweats in the room on the 11th. I called the very next day and was told the housekeepers were gone and no one could check. No one ever called me back. I called again today the 2nd and I was told you would “ask if anything was found,” but it’s clear no one has actually taken the time to look bc he didn’t even ask what kind of pants As a frequent guest, I expect better like actually verify with housekeeping, or an actual update. This is basic customer service, and the lack of follow-through is unacceptable.

Two quest. First day. We had towels the last two days. We had to share one towel because they ran out of clean ones. We stayed three nights, and no one came to make the bed, and No one even suggested. Not friendly at all, seemed like it was an inconvenience to ask anything.

This is an exceptional stay in terms of the usual metrics such as the housekeeping staff, the cleanliness and the front desk staff, but in terms of what one gets for one’s money (and I have stayed in many of the motels and hotels in the area), it would be difficult to find a deal like this elsewhere. The rooms are spacious enough to stand head and shoulders above the usual at this price level, the housekeeping staff were always available for anything I needed but never knocked on my door so that if I needed to sleep virtually until the moment of my checkout time, I could. The rooms are well soundproofed. I never have heard sounds from shared walls. In other hotels at this price point, You run a real risk of being aware of closing doors, cell phone chatter and it’s good to experience peace and quiet without paying like this basic expectation is a luxury. Beyond these, the front desk staff’s demeanor and attention “feel” like more than I paid. It’s the sophistication and experience I think. These are people who obviously take pride in the quality of stay the customer gets for their money and so many “reasonably priced” options in this world are a tense tug-of-war between what you paid and what management thinks you won’t miss or notice you don’t get. Not here. Whatever your reason for staying in the area, if you’re looking for a decent stay on a budget that is noticeably superior to the competition in that regard, I can very safely recommend The Pacific Hotel.

I had a great stay at Hotel Pacific Manhattan Beach! The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a beach-area getaway. Check-in was quick, the staff was welcoming, and the whole place had a relaxed, laid-back vibe that fits the area perfectly. The location is hard to beat — just a short drive or walk to the beach, restaurants, and everything Manhattan Beach has to offer. For the price, it’s a solid value: quiet rooms, good A/C, reliable Wi-Fi, and easy access to the city and coast. Nothing over the top, but everything I needed was there and worked well. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.
