The hostel was tidy, well equipt and friendly. The activities were fun and easy to find the info about. The welcome day was good, the movie night and the comedy night. The kitchen was well equipt and kept so clean. The cleaning staff were amazing and thorough. Beds were comfy and all had sockets and lights.

Man, I did not think I would enjoy myself as much as I did. - So many random pop-up events. - Tons of friendly travelers. - Everything is walkable, bikeable, or scooterable. - There is a Parking Garage RIGHT across the street with security - The front staff is full of joy and extremely accommodating. - Two Cons - First, it can get quite warm at times, but that's typical of the humid Santa Monica climate. I honestly got used to it after 2 days. Second, the $5 is pretty barebones. Yes, it's only $5, but I would rather pay $10 for a waffle maker and premade batter like you'd see at a low-end Hotel. I will be booking again, had so much fun! I'm 6'5, Heavy weight, and was able to sleep comfortably on the beds, so don't worry about low-quality furniture.

I’ve stayed here several times with no issues However the other guests in my room were not very considerate, they left wet towels on my blankets were tossed, flip flops were left right in front of my bed. Although I liked this room better than the 8 person room, I didn’t appreciate my roommates.
