We got our room and it was 214. The room was clean, smelled clean. But the front of the AC unit was laying in the floor. My husband teied to put it on but it wouldn't go. So I wentbdown and told the young lady at the desk, who had the personality of a rock. She said they are remodeling that they were currently working on the 3rd floor. No emotion at all. But anyway she gave me another room which was 220 it was very nice. The bathroom was immaculate. The room was a queen but it was tiny. Everything worked, it was quiet we slept well. The breakfast was basic but good and fresh and well maintained.

The property needs updating it appears to be an older place, it was ok for the money and the amount of time I stayed, if I had a longer stay I would book somewhere else Bed was not comfortable and room was small. .

Great stay

Our one night was very pleasant. Extremely clean, roomy room. Didn't eat breafast so can't comment on that. Check out fast and easy via cellphone. Would stay again.

Was pretty good but staying on the first floor was a mistake. The people above us must of had children because it was very noisy til late at night. Running, dropping things, slamming doors.

The area is convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The problem came after a long day of travel. We got in bed and noticed many stains on the sheets. The plus side was that when we went down to report it and ask to be moved , we were immediately helped. After carefully checking the second room we finally settled down to sleep. Breakfast was okay but not great.

Microtel is a nice surprise!

We stayed at this hotel a year ago, and were very pleasantly surprised. So, when we knew we were going to be passing through Macon, GA, we intentionally chose to stay here again. The property is very clean, and well-maintained; easy access to the highway; and has a very good breakfast spread.

pretty bare bones

never stayed at a microtel in my life, not sure if this place was just super small and cramped rooms or this is what is normal for the chain. i had to wait a minute or two for anyone at the front desk to even acknowledge me. when i asked about a hold, she couldn't even answer me like i was asking her some weird question. which is puzzling unless there are different hold prices for different people? i asked for one key, she gave me two. i don't know what's wrong with her like she's just being difficult when there was no need to. the room was cramped, but clean. bed was not super comfortable but not the worst. lights were flourescent and surprisingly irritating to use like prison lights. i did like that the water was hot and it was close to the freeway (despite the freeway related noises) and breakfast had more stuff than i expected, more than most budget chains. didn't say it was very good, but my expectations were super low. not really the hotel's fault or anything as they have no control over the guests. i had a nutjob hip hop neighbor who burped throughout the night and apparently the walls were paper thin or he just kept playing music on his phone ring tone really loud even up to 1:30 AM. i'm going to say i'm definitely never staying here again, there's just a lot of hotels in the Macon area even at this price range.
