Room seemed clean and neat. It’s a good location as far as proximity to sights in the Quarter, but not good for noise level, and the clientele on the street directly in front of hotel. Our room, 1204 , did not have hot water in the shower for our stay from Thursday evening to Sunday morning (11/13-16) . We mentioned it twice to front desk, and engineering was resetting the boiler, I do not know if anyone checked the shower itself. It was also mentioned in checkout.

Property is convenient to tourist area of Jackson Square and Bourbon St. The porter, security and valet staff were excellent. Very professional and efficient. Checkin staff was not super helpful or responsive to questions. She never smiled or made any effort to be welcoming. The staff at the desk the rest of our stay though were efficient and helpful. The biggest detractor was the noise from the street. We were on the upper 3 floors 18-20 but the noise was all night, every night. Loudspeakers blaring, people yelling, sirens all night long. Overall, the hotel was clean but could use some updating. We would recommend it for the parking, cleanliness and the proximity to popular spots.

Our stay had be excellent until Housekeeping sent 2 women who started speaking Spanish to each other, in our room, discussing the room, as though we were not even there. As a Military family we know that is a SAFETY ISSUE, ESPECIALLY w/ MY TENDER-AGED GRANDSON is present. I explained they must speak English in my room. They rolled their eyes & acted as though, they could care LESS. We never stay in Hilton Hotel, nor will any of our family/friends after >$1k in cash & clothes were stolen from us while staying at the NOLA CBD's Hilton 3 yrs ago. As a Nurse Practitioner & owner of a home healthcare org in VA, one of our patients is here & asked me to give the treatment/ enzyme which she receives monthly in VA. While I was out administering the IV med, your front desk Admin, Deinira Joseph, called our room as started harassing my son, calling us Racists, which is a word used to incite violence. Deinira then said she was going to "Kick us out" bc "ALL of our housekeeping staff ONLY SPEAK SPANISH!" Deinira got my son (who has a cardiac condition) so upset, using language used to incite violence against ppl, my son went into Congestive Heart Failure and was taken by ambo to the hospital were he remains in ICU. I blame your employee for this. Again, the stay had been the best in NOLA prior to your Front Desk Admin, outing herself as a Radical Leftist, happy to incite potential violence against ppl who she believes has the wrong "thinking."

First when we checked in I booked two rooms which I asked for adjoining rooms, that wasn’t done but not only that they gave us one room for four people and when I went back to get the key for the other room the front desk person was asking who checked us in as if we were supposed to know as if we live and work there. Then I asked about how far the other room was she said at least you’re on the same floor. To make things worst they gave the room next door the other night to some men who were so loud in the wee hours of the night, then one of them come and knocked our doors after midnight asking for a charger like we were supposed to have a charger to lend smh. The water in the shower doesn’t run out and when you’re taking a shower the water reached your ankle sigh this is my worst stay at a hotel in my entire lifetime and I stayed at many hotels but this one sigh I would never recommend to anyone…….. worst stay ever!!!! If I could give them a no star I would……..
