Beautiful view on the Promenade

The apartment was comfortable and very quiet. We enjoyed the view of the sea and promenade. It has a supermarket and a bakery close by. The bus is an easy walk, but it is not close to the old town or train station.

The appartment is second to none. Everything in working order, all the equipment We needed and an unbeatable location. If you want to fault anything, it is the traffic noise from the promenade, but the views make up for that 😉

Clean/ comfortable apartment

Enjoyable stay, clean and comfortable apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Large balcony with great sea views but very noisy. Grocery stores/ bakery nearby. Took us 40 minutes walk to the old town from the apartment but it is right on the tram stop and takes only 10 minutes by tram.

Perfect Location on the Promenade

I have procrastinated in writing this review due to mixed feelings. This apartment is absolutely beautiful, private, and wonderfully located. Everything in Nice is walkable from here. The view from the balcony is spectacular. The apartment is spacious with a very well equipped kitchen for any type of cooking. The master bedroom is quiet and comfortable. Air conditioning works well. Some minor repairs are in need such as.. lights on bathroom vanity mirrors, bedside table and lamp adjustments, and absolute lack of any operational manual for stove, washing machine. Check in and out are mostly "hands off" as property manager is off site and clearly does not wish to attend. He was available by phone for any inquiry. The reason for the average rating is an important one. The second bedroom ( which fortunately we did not use or need) has a terrible visible mold issue in the closet. It is obvious (by odor) when you enter the bedroom and quite shocking to see on the interior wall of the closet when the door is slid open. We personally would not sleep in this bedroom, and if we were traveling with another couple....would have not stayed in the apartment. The owner is aware of the issue and its cause and is awaiting repair by the building. The owner does not see it as an issue of health or one deterring rental of the apartment. Garbage disposal is in the basement where it is more than obvious mold is also an issue. If and when the mold issue is addressed, WE WILL RETURN!!!!

Apartment Nice

Received info day before on how to get the key to the apartment and that was straight forward. Apartment was great and as described. Everything worked fine no issues at all really, amazing view and although the road is busy outside the apartment, once all the doors were closed it was pretty quite and was able to sleep fine, the only thing that would put me off returning is the daytime traffic it’s very busy all day long and when sitting on the balcony the noise from the traffic starts to get on your nerves, but if you don’t mind that then it’s great. Thanks also David for sorting out any minor issues we had immediately.

SUBLIME apartment, Incredible View, Odd Decor, Loud traffic

No complaints at all, except that we could not watch TV, because the apparent instructions were in German. No problem. Who watches TV on holiday anyway? Last day treat was a 7,000-runner Marathon for the May Day weekend, right along the Promenade des Anglais, so we had a front row seat on our balcony. It was a nice break from unrelenting, noisy traffic, but the interior is quiet if one keeps the sliding doors closed. I cannot exaggerate the comfort of this apartment. It was immaculately clean and tidy, with lovely bed linens and towels. It has everything: dishwasher, laundry washer, convection cooktop, WiFi, big fridge, and beautiful floors. The decor was a bit "specific" with everything white, all tables of glass, and amusing artwork. It's got a perfect view of the bay, but is only a pleasant 25-minute walk to downtown and Vieux Nice. Highest recommendation!

nice stay in Nice

Property was great and as advertised. Amenities were nice although the bathrooms were a little unusual. The en-suite had a shower and sinks but no toilet. Building was secure and felt comfortable. Getting information as to the access to the property, (coming in on a Sunday when apparently no one is available was problematic). I dealt with 3 people and had to make repeated phone calls to find out how I was to get the keys. We were able however to get the keys early and this was accommodating. It is just a major frustration when, after paying for the entire stay days in advance, we were given the details for access (a drop box key pick up) only 24 hours in advance of our stay. We were not given any instructions as to garbage disposal, recycling etc The codes for the internet that were left on the table were incorrect and the details for using the TV were not there. Additionally the air conditioning failed the day we moved in, which meant an uncomfortable night in the 30 degree heat. This was resolved the next day when David sent his wife and the A/C company to assist us and bring us the keys to the garage. She was a wonderful lady. There were no instructions re the operation of the stove (It is not intuitive!) but we were able to find the details on the internet for the brand of the stove. This should not have been necessary. The unit is well equipped with linens, cooking and eating utensils etc and the only small item that was missing was a dishcloth which we purchased. All in all we had a great vacation there and it is in a beautiful spot but the arrival issues did not get us off on the right foot.

Top Lage, schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. 2 große Schlafzimmer mit genug Stauraum, eines mit Klimaanlage u eigenem Bad (ohne WC), anderes mit Deckenventilator. Beides Ende August sehr angenehm. Wohnbereich ebenfalls mit Klimaanlage, top. Küche hat alles, was man benötigt. Es gibt noch ein zweites Bad mit WC u kleines 2. WC. Am besten ist der großzügige Balkon mit schönem Blick auf Meer, Strand, Promenade. Etwas laut durch Straße u einfliegende Flugzeuge, aber so gibt es immer was zu sehen. Uns hat es nicht gestört. In der Wohnung ist dank Doppelverglasung nichts zu hören. Zum Kiesstrand muss man nur über die Straße gehen u schon kann man los schwimmen. In 15 Minuten ist man in das Zentrum gelaufen, aber Bus u S-Bahn sind in 1 Min erreichbar. So konnten wir das Auto meistens in der Tiefgarage stehen lassen. Garage ist viel wert, auch wenn es etwas eng ist u unser SUV nur mit eingeklappten Spiegeln hinein gepasst hat. Infos zur Garage u Wohnung wurde mit kleinen Videos per WhatsApp mitgeteilt u Kommunikation in Englisch war schnell u unkompliziert (wir sprechen kein Französisch, daher wieder top). In der Parallelstraße gibt es tolle kleine Essensmöglichkeiten, Bäckereien u Supermarkt. Uns hat die Woche sehr gefallen u wenn wir wieder nach Nizza kommen, ist sie unsere erste Wahl

Top Lage, sehr großer Balkon

Direkt an der Pomenade deshalb auch viel PKW Verkehr. Aber die Sicht aufs mehr und die Entfernung zum Strand war unschlagbar. Die Fenster sind schallisoliert, was das Schlafen angenehmer macht. In der Küche alles nötige vorhanden. Supermärkte in kurzer Nähe sowie Bus vor der Haustür und Straßenbahn Magnan um die Ecke. Vom Flughafen kann man gut mit den Öffis fahren. Für uns ein perfekter Kurzurlaub.

L'appartement a une situation idéale, il est très propre, très confortable, avec une vue mer splendide, très facile d'accès par le tramway lorsqu'on vient de l'aéroport. Seul petit bémol, on entend les voisins parler et marcher ! Je le conseille vivement, j'y retournerais volontiers.

I would not hesitate to rent this apartment again. It felt like home with a beautiful view of the sea. I have some suggestions for improvements: Replace outdated items - trash can and pillows on the balcony, clean the floors, provide instructions on how to use appliances.
