First off we paid for a king room and was told we would have to be 10 rooms away from our friends in order to get one. It ended up being a double room. And we were to tired to fight it. Then the next morning we found a cockroach in our room and a suspicious charge on our card, ( not the 100 on hold) which they swore wasn’t theirs. They even gave me my receipt without the charge but it’s still on my card as the Ramada . The place is old which isn’t an issue but the cockroaches are.

It was average accommodations. Nothing spectacular. For starters, the hot tub is located in the waterpark area so it closes early. I would have expected it to be closer to the pool and stay open later for the adults. I saw quite a few situations where the customer service could have been handled much better which would have made the whole experience much nicer. A little courtesy goes a long way.

Spring break with the kiddos

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here, especially with the “lazy river” and “the slides” at the water park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay except for the beds. I love a good comfy bed like anyone else but my gosh was the bed too soft. I never thought I’d complain of a bed being soft but it made our backs hurt so bad! lol. We had to do a mini stretch/yoga in the mornings to alleviate the pain. Otherwise, awesome staffs and the place is clean.

I had a room with a view of the water park which was very convenient because I could comfortably send my kids to the water park and I could see them from my room. Early check-in was availablev for $50. Parking is very convenient and extends to all sides of the building regardless of which section of the property you are in. I did not like that they advertised daily housekeeping and did not come to my room at all. ever going to come to my room for housekeeping. At that time I was told it would only be if I asked which pissed me off. I felt like that was false advertising which I did date to them because I would totally understand if it said housekeeping upon request. However it did not stay there if I'm staying at a hotel for 5 days I do not expect to use the same towels and bed sheets for the 5 days. When I finally did ask for my room to be done and my sheets to be changed they sent somebody to my room and they made the bed up. I had already been making the bed up myself from the first day that I've been there if I wanted the bed made up I could have did it myself I asked to have my sheets changed and they clearly did not do that My sheets were dirty which is why I asked for them to be changed so as soon as I want in the room and flip the sheets back and see the

The only thing I didn't like was the key was given to someone else with out asking our calling me first safety is priorities other than that was great and remote Didn't work and I had to mop my the floor cause it was dirty from using the same mop on all the room with out changing the water

My experience at Flamingo Waterpark Resort was frustrating from start to finish. I had to **switch rooms twice** due to poor conditions—outdated amenities, barely functioning outlets, and a refrigerator that wasn’t cold, which **ruined the food I had for my kids**. The **lifeguards and staff delayed opening the pool** and closed it early, contradicting what the front desk told us. The worst part? The **door to our room frequently locked from the inside, trapping us with no way to get out**—a serious safety hazard had there been an emergency. Then came the unexpected charges. After initially **releasing a $100 incidental fee**, they charged me again, claiming a bed sheet was ripped. However, the sheet was already torn when I arrived. To make matters worse, **they only provide sheets—no blankets—so we had to bring our own**. It’s absurd to suggest my **7-year-old child ripped a bed sheet** and charge $100 for it. The resort also **charged unnecessary fees**—including resort fees despite failing to follow their stated hours, and even a fee when my kids simply asked for a spoon for the ice cream they bought **inside the hotel store**. On top of that, **the phones don’t work, and staff communication is terrible**. After contacting the hotel, they **refused to refund me the fee**, showing complete disregard for their guests. Their **rude customer service** added even more stress to what was supposed to be a fun vacation, ruining my kids’ experience as I had to deal with
