The check in was fast and easy and the location was right downtown. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My complaints are that the heater did not work at all. Not hot, cold, up down… anything. Luckily I brought my own blanket. The room smelled like smoke and there was even an ash tray on the bathroom counter. I think they also rent by the month because the family next door was yelling and screaming at their kids until late and it sounded like they had been staying for awhile. The kids were VERY loud. Lastly, there was a cockroach on the wall when I got out of the shower. It was definitely a roach because I took a picture and my phone looked it up. I don’t usually complain about any place that I stay but I will definitely not be coming back to this hotel.

This place while looking a bit run down was a fine place to stay for the price. It ticked my must have boxes. Clean bedding,hot shower and no bugs. The tv worked too. My room had a refrigerator and microwave which I didn't expect. Free coffee and snacks in the morning,not breakfast. Target is within walking distance if you need anything.

The room was disgusting and smelled. The bed sheets and blankets had cigarette burn holes in them. There was stains all over the ceiling and floor. I would not stay here ever again.

The staff was great. Absolutely fantastic. The facility and room was terribly out dated. The bathrooms were dirty. The front doors showed signs of previous forced break in. Making the integrity of the door weak.

Nice location convenient walking to dining and shopping. Sacramento has a bad homeless and drug situation typical of most liberal cities so walking at night probably not recommended for some. Staff was great. Big rooms, basic accommodations including fridge and microwave. 16th street is busy so some noise. Stayed here before, would again.

We were able to check-in a little eary (2pm) and were given a room on the 3rd floor. Used the elevator to get luggage up to 3rd floor. Room was tidy, beds were clean, had a fridge, microwave & satellite TV. Bathroom was clean, however, when we came back to the room late at night, there were small cockroaches (around 2-3) in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom. The next day we reported the issue to the lady in the lobby, she told us they would take care of it, came to find out later that day they did absolutely nothing! No spray or traps were laid, so i would NOT recommend this place!!!
