The check in person informed me that my 3night stay will not qualify for any points in my IHG membership, because I booked my stay on Expedia and not through IHG directly! This is totally unacceptable! Also I wanted to renew my IHG Ambassador membership and was tod no need to renew as the membership has no renewal option and is not necessary to renew, the benefits keep going! IHGis this correct? This sure makes me want to just drop my IHG membership…..

My stay was okay, but could have been better. The shower did not drain I let staff know and they were able to fix it. Then my toilet was not flushing. Again I let staff know and they addressed the issue. I did appreciate the cleaning crew. My room was cleaned daily. My last issue was with rescheduling. My flight was canceled and was not able to check-in until the next day. I contacted the hotel and they stated I needed to contact Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they reported I had to go through the hotel. It was a struggle getting the problem resolved. A lot of back and fourth from both parties and inconsistent communication. Honestly the experience makes me reluctant of utilizing Expedia again in the future.
