Drift Away is a combination of the main home (4 bedrooms) and the Suite (1 bedroom) combined with double the space to provide for large families with children or as a two-family-shared accommodation with plenty of privacy. Upon entrance, the generous screened-in porch has several outdoor seating accommodations. There are two rockers at the front door, a favorite morning coffee location, and next is an adjacent outdoor dining area for four. Behind the dining alfresco setup is a comfortable lounge seating area and an additional rocker setup. This expansive wrap-around porch is a family favorite for evening meals outdoors and the perfect location for visiting with family and friends.
The first floor includes two living areas, two dining areas, two fully-equipped kitchens, and two full baths (shower only). The combined open floor plan has the primary living, dining, and kitchen at the front of the home. The renovated kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and a fun retro green fridge for a fun beach vacation vibe. The kitchen features a four-burner electric stove and adjacent bar seating for three more. There is an adjacent dining area that comfortably seats eight. The first bedroom is a queen bedroom at the front of the home with plenty of natural light and the second bedroom features two twins at the rear of the home. These two bedrooms share a renovated shared hall bathroom with a single vanity and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower.
At the rear of the home, you will find the third bedroom, a king with a shared full hall bath (shower only). There is the secondary living area off the king bedroom with a full kitchen, bar seating for three and adjacent dining area for four. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa for two more. On the second floor are the final two bedrooms with a shared full bathroom with a shower only. The fourth bedroom up features a king bed and the fifth bedroom has two twins. All Drift Away units and the Hide Away cottage share one washer/dryer that is located under the stairwell at Hide Away.
This cottage may also be rented as a Drift Away Main (4-bedroom) cottage or a Drift Away Suite (1-bedroom) during Fall, Winter, or Spring only. There is also a separate carriage house, Hide Away, which is a 1 bedroom stand-alone guest cottage available for rent separately in addition to Drift Away if you need more room.
There is shared driveway parking for this unit. The carriage house, Hide Away may also be rented at the same time, and guests will have first come/first served driveway parking.
