Find another hotel in town

Mattress's very old, the pull-out couch so far also had springs broken. All the outlets on the lamps are loose and wouldn't work, tried plugging something directly into the wall and the whole outlet was shaking around in the wall, not secured seems like an electrical safety issue. Wallpaper peeling, carpet ripped up, I'm 5'9 and was taller than the shower head so I needed to squat to wash my hair. Spill in the common area that I noticed the night before was still there in am during breakfast and was dried and sticky on the floor. Kitchen employee telling people to make sure they got some food because they weren't sure if they were going to have enough because it was a very busy day. Had to ask for towels at the pool. The staff I did interact with was friendly and helpful. There was signs up saying pardon our appearance during renovation but not really sure where the renovation was recurring.

We stay here while attending dogs shows. The staff are always very friendly & helpful. Only thing at this time I would say is, lack of hot water @6am in the morning, ugh. Otherwise a great hotel.

The first impression walking in the room was a bit disappointing. For a double room there were too few pillows and too few blankets. They did bring some when I called. No glasses in the bathroom. No amenities like water.

Towels are cheap and thin. Extreme noise (jackhammer) from workers renovating this outdated hotel. On top of all that, an off-leash dog ran across the lobby and jumped up on me - the hotel staff did nothing and the dog owner just laughed. I come to Springfield MA frequently and will never stay at La Quinta again.

Property was situated close by and easy to get to. Ok parking. Nearby good restaurants. The hotel is outdated though in any aspects. Room was large and ok. Tv to small for room and wat to far away from being able to see it when sitting or laying. Didnt sleep as kids runnuling down hallway and yelling inside rooms. Pool was not very warm and very outdated. Towels are small amd terrible. And not replenished. Chips of paint came off when touching sides! Not monitored so nothing was watched. People were eating and diving, cannonballing splashing us. Asked them nicely to maybe pick a side at least and was yelled at by some guy and attacked verbally and this forced us to leave. Scary situation and we feared we were going to be attacked again. Texted the hotel with zero response. Breakfast was typical of a huge hotel. Lines of people waited to eat. Staff there was always watching and replenishing, so that was great. Regular options noting that was super special. Typical hotel eggs tasted like cardboard, bacon and potatoes. Oatmeal was watery. Water tasted horrible in entire hotel and at breakfast. Definitely bring bottled water. Ovwrall it was 1 night so we dealt with it. Not worth the over 200 dollars i paid for sure.
