Rooms were extremely hot and weren’t ventilated. Internet was super slow. So many bugs in and outside the stay. As well the door handle literally came off just from trying to close it. As well when we arrived we found a towel that was covered in blood.

Good value and location

Our family (2 adults and 4 kids - ages 11-15) stayed 4 days in the apartment. Barbara was very responsive with check-in details and answering questions. The apartment is on the middle floor of a 3 story building (total of 6 apartments), among many other similar buildings in the quiet Bern suburb of Zollikofen. Walking distance to the train station and shops. We had a car, which we parked on-street. The bedrooms are each of good size, and there is seating for 6 at the kitchen table - plus a table and 4 chairs on the pleasant balcony. The refrigerator is under-counter, and the washer-dryer is shared among the building residents and is available for a nominal cost. Overall we recommend the apartment for a small group of up to 6 people.
