We asked Expedia to provide hotels which include breakfast but this is the 1st time that we need to pay anything we had over 25US dollars plus tips. Secondly, the coffee machine not working, the ironing board is broken, the room on the 3rd day was not cleaned until we returned after 5:40 pm.

The service was impeccable. We arrive around 8pm but had a very quick check in. Staff was Bert professional. Beautiful hotel. Room 2-bed was extremely spacious and specially the bathroom. The restaurant in the hotel, By George, had excellent dinner. The breakfast, I thought wasn’t great but the dinner menu and quality is excellent.

The hotel in itself is beautiful and in a pretty central area. There are a lot of things that were broken which was shocking and disappointing for the price. The AC would go in and out which made the temperature of the room very erratic. The lighting is terrible. There’s no overhead lights and just some SMALL lamps. The toilets in the gym were broken with no sign on the doors. There’s carpeting in the rooms. I was overcharged for my burger at the restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The hotel’s restaurant was truly outstanding — every meal was delicious, and the service there was top-notch. Our room was beautiful, spotless when we arrived, and felt luxurious and comfortable. The bath tub was AMAZING! The only downside was our maid service. Despite leaving a tip every single day, our room was barely tidied. I know the bathroom floor was not swept daily because the same pieces of toilet paper remained on the floor behind the door after maid service. Another concern was the area outside the hotel. The homeless population in the nearby parks was very noticeable, and it made walking directly from the hotel uncomfortable. We often had to walk up a block and around to feel safe leaving the hotel. It was disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel, which was excellent.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and will definitely stay again. We got our breakfast to-go and while the wait staff were a bit slow in getting our order, the food was delicious My only gripe was with the valet parking. It was $55/night which I think is excessive given it's downtown, so you are almost forced to use the valet service whether you want to or not.
