Location made it easy to get around town. Rooms were a nice size, very clean. The beeds were soft which was nice after hard campeevan beds. Staff were lovely and helped us find transportation & things to do. Coffee shop had fantastic bagels and Coffees.

Nice hotel, great location

Great central location, short walk to Sky City as well as the restaurants and bars, The Shakespeare being a personal favorite. The staff were very professional and curteous especially Claudio.

No staff at reception , had to go to restaurant and request someone to come and book us in. No valet parking available recommended by staff to use parking building next door. Absolutely disgusting, elevator full of graffiti dirty and poorly lit, stairs smelt like a urinal. No room service or snacks in room. Disappointing stay definitely would not recommend.

Rydges is situated perfectly not too busy and your keycard is required entering the hotel after hours. There’s a bacon where you can eat if you don’t want to fine in your room from Uber eats. The staff is very friendly.

Room was very clean, awesome bathroom and shower. The bed was the highlight though, the most comfortable bed we had in all the places we stayed in New Zealand!

You’re paying for the location

It was pretty good! The hotel itself is sort of average, but you’re paying the the location! It’s nice and close to nearly EVERYTHING you’d like to do in downtown Auckland. Also if you have a car the parking next door is relatively cheap per day, although it’s also a bit cramped feeling if you have a larger vehicle
